I saw the game after voting ended and wanted to play it as the idea of interacting with the world only through listening sounded quite fascinating! It also reminded me a bit of The Curse of the Golden Idol :)
I enjoyed the investigation and the way you gave little pieces of information here an there! Top work, and the visuals are also cool: simple and stylish.
Sadly I got stuck whilesolving the crime (spoilers ahead): I understood who the murderer is, but I wasn't able to find his first name. I listened to all the dialogues multiple times and decided that maybe I was wrong about his identity. After I tried to accuse another person, I got the ending that it was wrong (of course). I had to check the solution where I learned that my first assumptions were correct! However the dialogue where you learn the murderer's first name never played for me (if I understood it correctly). I examined all scenes with E, and the scene where E. talks to A. (if this is the scene that was mentioned in the solution) has no dialogue. Should it have it? Maybe there is a way to trigger the dialogue that I didn't think of? Now this bothers me haha

DAMN! The narrative is super interesting, the music sets the mood well, and the art is incredible! Congratulations to everyone. I didn't solve the case, but I'll definitely play it again soon!

great pixel art and fun story to try and piece together! I wish it was easier to tell between moving through time and through different rooms, tripped me up a lil bit at first. I got there though.

The movement was a bit janky I did not always end up where I wanted to be. Maybe simple arrow key movement would have suited this game a little bit better?
I would say it really payed off putting so much time into art it has real charm too it!

Yes, I wanted the game to be mouse-only but yeah arrow keys would have been simpler. Although it's actually the doors that are buggy, so I'm not sure if it would have been a determining improvement
Really brilliant idea and can't believe you managed to make something like this in such a short space of time! I found it a little difficult to get the name of the murderer from the conversations/clues but that's probably just me.

I love mystery/detective/investigation/deduction games, so when I saw this I had to check it out! The art and vibes are really good, and the puzzle was really interesting. I got the victim's name and murder weapon right, and I'm pretty sure I know who the culprit is, but I can't find the first name and the link to the solution isn't working 😭. I also often ran into an issue where I want to move through a room but the game keeps taking me to a different room even though I wasn't by the door, but I was eventually able to see all the rooms in all the timeframes. Fun game overall, great work!

this was nicely done! i liked the ambience and the art! it was a little hard to tell who was speaking so some clues mightve missed me.
Thanks! Yeah i realized a bit late that for a game where text is this important, i should have used a larger resolution so the text could have been smaller and more readable instead of taking up the whole screen
some color coding mightve helped too!! just differentiate the characters by color which i think u did and then when they talk use the same color thats representative of each character!
I tried, but depending on the background, it was sometimes even harder to read. But yeah, that's definitely something I would like to improve

I loved the art and the gameplay!! This was so much fun (I love love love detective games). I wasn't able to find the killer's full name unfortunately, but I loved how the conversations were only part of the mystery (the visuals indicating the methodology :333). Great game, will try again!!

I got through the cut scene, but then I was in blank space with nothing around (I downloaded the game). If there is fix to that I would ask you for some guidance, beacuse the artwork seamed very good to me.
oh i'm so sorry, yeah it looks like there is an issue with the downloadable version, i don't know why. The browser version seems to work correctly if that's fine for you
Now I've played it in the browser. Beautiful artwork, very good ambiance and I love the small details like the family picture and rats! Sadly I didn't solve it, but I found victim's name, I think I know what murder weapon is but don't know how it is called and I can't find murder's name. Of course if I am asuming correctly who the killer is. Love the game!

Well now I looked the solution, I thought of the right ones. For murder weapon not a specific enough word but I still didn't find murderer's name anywhere (in th game). Very beautiful artwork and nice clues!
