Crazy great idea here! The ability to dig your own paths combined with the power to place walls makes this a very thoughtful game, even if the wall is quite expensive. I can see lots of potential in this game with different possible turrets or minerals in the ground that incentivize the player to dig even more. Plus I love the sound it makes when you get metal

This one's tricky! Really cool to take a simple concept like carving your own tower defense and how that naturally becomes a difficult balancing act. I do think the fact that your turrets can kill you outside the waves is a little annoying and doesn't add too much to the game. Like I get the idea of needing to be efficient with the turret placement but the fact that health replenishes quickly takes some tension out of it. But other than that minor gripe I really enjoyed this, great game!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play and leave feedback. The mechanic where turrets can damage the player even outside of waves was actually the very first idea I came up with to support the jam's theme of "LOOP." Without it, I felt the game would just become a simple mining and defense game, and the loop concept would be much weaker.

However, while it may have added a sense of uniqueness, I did have the thought that it might have actually ended up hurting the fun. I had originally planned some gadgets—like ones that let you destroy walls from a distance or temporarily disable turrets—which might have helped balance things out, but unfortunately, I couldn't implement them in time.

Your feedback is truly valuable and will help a lot in improving the game. Thank you again for playing!

Pretty cool Idea! It was quite the surprize when I realized the mine looped back on itself.

I lost track of time while playing!

I really enjoyed playing this game, but I think it would be better if they added air units that avoid turrets or made the difficulty harder.

Creative idea of combining mining and tower defense.

In spare time please also rate my game

Really interesting and creative idea! I liked the twist of having it turning into a tower defense that you then needed to assault.

A very interesting mix, with enough time to work on more eye-catching art, it would make a good indie game. Great submission!

Great implementation of the them. the first time I set up a turret to defend myself it shot at me :D that was when I understood the clever Idea behind this game.

Amazing job

Haha yes! That moment of realization is exactly what I hoped for. Thak you for playing!

Wow, brilliant concept. Very fun to play with interesting strategic questions. Great work.

This concept is so clever and original! I had so much fun, I love tower defense games, though I must admit it's really hard for me to make a defense that I eventually need to surpass myself haha

Developer

I definitely wanted to create a game that requires to think in a different way than traditional tower defense games. Thanks for playing!

Loved the idea and execution!

Whoa, is this... a tower defense game where... you carve out the track, and then become the enemy?

EXTREMELY cool concept, I just wish I wasn't so trigger happy with all the turrets cause there was NO way I was making it through there.

Developer

The key is to avoid over-placement of turrets!

Thank you for playing!
