Super creative idea! I like the puzzle-y way I needed to make beats. The art and interface fit the them well, too. Nice job!

I’m loving the rhythm-fight mechanics here! It’s turn-based combat in a way, which I’m usually not fond of, but this executes it in a very interesting way. Kudos to you!
Above my expectations. Nice game. It is actually a 'programming' game under the hood if you think about it, and there were some fun levels.
One frustration I had was when you are stepping through the bar you cannot edit the notes, but it does not have any visual feedback, so sometimes I was clicking without being able to edit anything, to then realize I was in 'stepping mode'. So a small usability issue that could be improved. Maybe make the nodes greyed out or something would be enough.
The way the camera works, you always have to fail some times to get it right. As you cannot see what is to come, there were some levels that I just pressed forward some times to see what would happen next. Was thinking about it, maybe a nice feature would be to allow the player to pan the camera forward when there aren't any notes on the track, this way the player can hit play and inspect all the level and study how things move before starting to work on the solution.
Really nice game, congratulations on the project!
I also made a music game. It is more a rhythm game actually, but uses the concept of a looped bar of a music too! It is a tower defense with rhythmic inputs. You might like it :)
Awesome game! What a great use of using looping patterns to solve puzzles. Great execution too, I could see this being expanded a fair amount further.
Just incredible, it was really nice to play, and I loved discovering the differents pattern you incorporate.
It is really incredible to be able to create a rhythms game like this one in such a short notice.
The only things I see you could improve, was the fact that the cars did not have any sound, and beats to it (And I didn't really understand what was the manholes)
But keep the good work, I'm sure you could wrap it into a nice little game, that would have the same feels as Rhythm Doctor ! Looking forward to it !
Really cool idea, figuring out the pattern needed to beat the levels is fun and watching the character beat up enemies to the beat is very satisfying. The pixel art is good but some advice I've learnt that I found very useful is that when doing pixel art you want all the pixels to be the same size so the game looks more cohesive and appealing. Overall great submission!
love pattern games! got a little tough for me once the manholes got involved but i enjoyed it
I am a simple drummer: I see a drum game - I play it! Great job, colleague!
I like the concept, definitely strong ties to the theme which is great.
I didn’t love that I couldn’t see the whole level up front. It made it hard to know what I should do without failing and altering the beat.
Overall though, good job on the game!
Aw man, you can actually use arrows keys to pan camera/space to reset the camera. I got worried the tutorial was too long/boring so I left it out and just added to the game description. In hindsight it should've been in, my bad! I wish I'd had like 12 more hours for nailing UX I totally get your frustration.
