I like the idea, but I felt too stupid to figure out how to play at first :3. The GIFs really helped!
We were getting a lot of people having similar issues, don't worry! Hence the GIFs, thanks for mentioning that and making the work we put into them worth it almost as soon as we posted them!! Hope you enjoyed the game once you figured it out!
the artwork is really something! i love power rangers! <3
this style is very cool, also you made a interesting mechanic. Prety original :)
Thanks so much
The graphics are great and while the mechanics were hard to grasp at first, it makes for an interesting spin to the platformer game genre. For me personally, I would love for the movement to also be on wasd, but that's just personal preference. Nice job and great game!
Thanks for playing it! I find myself instinctively reaching for wasd every time I boot it up and going "oh, wait", so it's a funny oversight/quirk that I forgot to code them as an option. Glad you liked it!
Nice loop and pulse mechanic! It seemed a bit "easy" to solve everything with really short loop that contains a single pulse, was fun figuring things out. Monsters are scary, I expected to die when I hit the one that the button makes disappear!
The slimers are hungry...
Thanks so much for playing! You found the trick ;) It's awesome to see the varied ways people can approach the game with this mechanic. Some are finding it super easy with a little trick like yourself, other's are having a fun time juggling boxes doing trick shots, others are finding it a complete blowout in terms of difficulty. Kinda cool to see a range of experiences.
Really interesting take on the jam theme and narrative style. Once i got the hang of it it was great fun. Good job!
thank u so much, and for powering through the learning curve, much appreciated <3

stunning art and really creative! could use a bit more feedback to learn the game as a new player
Thanks for playing! Hope you managed to get enough of the hang of it to be able to enjoy it. We're definitely gonna try to make it easier and ramp it up slower in a future release! Making this version was too fun not to keep going. Thanks again!
Interesting idea with the pulse mechanic! I found the puzzles very challenging and only made it through a few levels. I recommend a skip level option for those of us not gifted enough to make it work.
Creepy trippy vibes, nice entry!
Oh you're the first person to suggest a skip, that's a great one to add to the list! Thanks!
Really love the art style and the creative use of the recording/loop mechanic! It took me a bit to get the hang of the controls and the pulse/explosion mechanic, but once I did, it felt really satisfying to bounce around and experiment. A clearer tutorial or slower ramp-up could help new players a lot. Still, it’s a super unique and polished experience, and I’d love to see how you expand on it post-jam!
Thanks a lot for the feedback and we're delighted that you gave it a try, got past the hurdle of figuring out the controls, and had a good time!
I had a bit of a hard time grasping how the systems work. I love the aesthetics.
Definitely looking forward to releasing a new version that introduces and explains the mechanics a bit more intuitively. Thanks for the feedback!
cool interesting idea! took me a while to get the hang of but i like the mechanic. platforming elements could be a little more intuitive and easy to control. i really really liked the art style though, what a way to stand out! well done!
Thanks for giving it a try and we're thrilled you enjoyed it
Cool physics puzzle platformer!
Cool physical fuzzy commenter
I really loved the art style and the concept of the game! I...wasn't able to get past the first level but it looks like I just didn't understand pulse, woops! I thought it was just the self-poof to restart xD
Thanks for giving it a go! Maybe give it another try if you understand it now: the pulse is useful if you use it in the recording. It'll "pulse" your active player, giving you a boost (and resetting your double jump!). If you do, I hope you find it satisfying flying about with reckless loopy abandon! Thanks again for trying it either way :)
Is this the end of the game? I don't know what to do after the TV says "SLIMED". Well, the only thing that stucked me was when I didn't know how to restart a level, in the description it was saying "press this to restart", but I didn't know you had to press ESC to the restart button appear on the screen. Other than that, amazing game! I liked everything on it, the art style is beautiful, the controls are simple to understand and the mechanics are creative, congrats for your game, excellent job!
Thanks so much for your thoughtful reply! Yes, that's the end, tacked on at the end of that classic stressful rush at the end of a jam. Levels are kind of hodge podge put together as we'd thought of them, and if we could do it again we'd have some slower on-ramping and also making the restart a bit clearer like you suggested! Thanks for seeing it through to the end and we're stoked you enjoyed it! SLIMED!
The visuals were really cool. Honestly a bit like a fever dream (in the best way possible!) I wasn't very good at the platforming but still enjoyed :)
Aren't fever dreams the best dreams? Thanks for giving it a try and who knows; maybe you can come back to it later to see more of the art in later levels!
Thanks!
Really creative stuff, the theming is such a vibe. It all comes together to really sell the idea
Thanks a lot! The artists outdid themselves and are worth checking out on instagram on their own merit @nacatamalien & @devaaom
Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazingly creative art style and wonderful drawings. The physics based recording mechanics were also fun to mess with once I got the hang of it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Style is really good. Difficulty is off the roof.
hehe did u manage to get to the end? we added some gifs as a tutorial is that helps! thank u for the feedback
I got SLIMED?!! Jokes on you, I love getting SLIMED hahaha. I had to look up the catch for the game but after that I was able to get through it. I really like the replay and the interactions in the game. Sometimes I got confused over which character I am currently controlling :D
Thanks for giving it a go! Where did you find the info that gave you the understanding you needed to get it moving? We've replied to lots of comments and posted things in different places, so just wondering which piece of info was key to making it make sense, so I can put that front and center on the page for future players, and also if/when we work on this beyond the jam. Thanks again!
I found in the comments here, that I need to use the explosion to bounce myself around with. That was the only bit of information that I needed to progress. Before that I understood how to record, replay and remove and that I probably need to carefully time my recordings but not the part about the explosion. Maybe if I had been a bit more patient I would have been able to figure it out on my own. My first thought was to bounce on top of my replay's head, Braid-stye
Looks incredible! I have recently played Tunic, so I was totally sold when saw the manual!
I can't imagine how long it took to draw and animate all that 🤯
If you like the art, check out the insta pages of our artists credited at the bottom of our itch page! They're incredible and we were lucky to get them to participate! @nacatamalien & @devaaom
