How does your game fit the theme?
In this game you incarnate a censor that works with movie films that loop until the work is done or failed. If he/she/they fail to do the job, he/she/they is/are replaced by another worker in an infinite loop, In this game the system allways wins, defeat is inevitable. This game is a methaphor of how work is an infinite monotonous loop, no matter who does it.

This game has a lot of potential, I find the somewhat totalitarian/dystopian themes to be very interesting in this one. The visuals and audio are also very well done. I would love to see the full version, but sadly the game softlocked after I completed cutting out any traces of
trees[REDACTED]. Overral, it looks very promising and I'm sure you put a lot of work into it!Keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot !!! We've worked hard to follow the main message ( working is a loop) and(in this kind of manipulative societies everyone is vulnerable and as useful as they are useless, depending on what the “orders” dictate.

About the softlock, emmm... NEW ACHEVIEMENT UNLOCKED: You've found a BUG...no, seriously jsjsj it's a useless bug that appeared at the last moment of sending the game.
But we're motivated to when GMTK let us modify the project, upload a new version with this bug fixed and also with all the gameplay loop working together.
We hope you would like to give it a second chance!!.

Obvious and thanks, papers please was our first and greatest inspiration, because of the setting, the palette and the type of society.
Very nice Idea, but sadly the UI messes up after cutting out the trees and doesn't go away from that point onward.

During the development we had several problems with the UI, and we couldn't fix this bug before the time runs out. Sadly we had more orders to follow in the next rounds. When the jam is judged and the jam finished, we'll fix this problem and also add more polish.

Cool idea. The art is really good and I like the audio design and sound effects. The game didn't work for me though. The second instructional letter wouldn't go off of the screen so I couldn't really play much of it.
Understandable it's a bug that we couldn't fix before jam finishes, so we're waiting until tje jam reopens the chance to edit our project.
When we change it, I hope you'd like to give us another chance :,,)

The game just soft locks after I try to cut the first tree. If I go back to the main menu and start again it won't let me press start and I'm just stuck.
The art design and sound is good, but unfortunately it's unplayable for me.

Love the concept. Unfortunately, when I complete the first set of removing trees, the letter for the start telling you to cut out the trees shows up again in front of the new letter. The start button closes the first letter and starts the scenes playing, but there seemed to be no way to close the second letter making the game unplayable.
We're so sorryyy!!! This is a bug that we couldn't fix before jam closed, so now we can't change anything.
After the jam is over, we'll modify the project adding the last update fixing this thing and other problems. I hope that you want to try it in it's best version.

Great idea! I love the gameplay concept, the art, and the 1984 narrative. Unfortunately I ran into a bug that prevented me from playing anything past the first level (the letter explaining how to cover frowning faces was stuck on the screen).
When I get the second set of letters the mail doesn't disappear on screen (there's no button to close it)
We know :,,,c it's a bug that we couldn't fix before jam ended. After GMTK let us edit the project we'll upload the final and improved version. We hope that you want to give it another chance.

The art work and sounds are lovely, and the story has a nice underlying political message! I did unfortunately get stuck, the paper telling you what to do would overlap and it wouldn't let me continue ;(
WOW we're so grateful that you got the hidden message in this game, we truly wanted to show how censoring can be stupid and useless giving orders in loop until you can't follow them well.
And about the bug , that's something that we couldn't fix before jam finished, therefore when GMTK let's us modify the project we'll upload a better version with this and other bugs fixed and playable from the beginning to the end.
We hope that you give it another chance and give us another review.
