How does your game fit the theme?
You control the character by redirecting their trajectory using a fixed orbit, or "loop".

I did everything solo apart from music. The music was done by my friend Zapathie during the jam.

Pleasantly surprised by the controller, it's a great idea that's been very well executed (●'◡'●)
Been looking for this since I saw the post on discord, did not disappoint. Very difficult, but very rewarding. The controls are the right mix of "this is so easy" and "my god this is impossible". The art definitely has a solid vibe and the music is great too!
Great game! Too frustrating for me though. I did at least try each level though, very grateful for the skip level button.
FIRE GAME MAN!!!🔥But levels were hard, which is good, but not for me :(
Astounding execution! Challenging, for sure, but the design, audio, and visuals come together to make a solid game. For the difficulty, I think some levels could be broken up into multiple levels to make it slightly easier, and also give you more content. Fantastic job with the game
I played a lot of games on this game jam with this moveing around a circle mechanic and this one was the best by far! Fan, polished, challenging, it has everything. Amazing job!
Intuitively I try to follow the ball and ‘catch’ it, but the levels, especially that four square layout level, teach you to move your mouse first before sending the ball, which was a pretty cool realization.
Fantastic entry! I especially loved the simple artstyle, it's so clean. I had trouble with the gameplay but it was mostly a skill issue XD There were only two things I wanted to note about the gameplay: 1. be careful about panning the camera in a game where the click location is very important 2. the loop often seems to just miss grabbing the ball? maybe I'm missing something about how it works but it was a pretty regular issue for me. Other than those small issues, the entire experience was so cohesive! I hope this goes a long way. Keep up the great work!
ive personally never had the catching issue? but the intention is generally that you direct the ball towards the orbit, rather than trying to grab it directly where it is, oh and that the orbit only starts *on* the line rather than a radius, i meant to put somethin the tutorial that says that directly, that might be the pain point. regardless, im glad you had some fun with it!
The art is amazing. I'm a sucker for the black white red color palette with pixel art
I love the aesthetic and how well it fits with the hardcore game mechanics.
I really like how inventive the mechanic is! I feel like I haven't seen a lot of 2d platformers in this jam, probably because it's hard to interpret the theme in a way that's hasn't been done before for a platformer, and I love the creativity of the interpretation.
Also, I find it kindof interesting that this is the 3rd game I've seen in the jam with a single button control scheme -even though it has a mouse- the other 2 being planet hopper and loop loaded.
Also nice aesthetic, goes without saying. (I have not yet beat the game or gotten too far though)
Infuriating but great! Thought the mechanic was going to be simple, but then you introduced the catch mechanic. Found the tutorial for this confusing at first but managed to work it by trial and error. The quiet audio alongside the louder bounces is a nice contrast. Super creative puzzle design.
