Fun and chaotic game where the player delivers packages straight to the people while avoiding running them over and taking caution of the emerging oil puddles, which add to the chaos and fun. The sound effects give a good sense of responsiveness and are hilarious! Wish there was music though. The visuals communicate essential information to the player quite well, but they do lack variety and look a bit plain. On the other hand, the scream button was a very nice and funny addition.
Overall, well done! 👍
I love how the driving feels, really punchy and juicy with the acceleration/deceleration and zoom. I really like how the camera rotates with the player, I haven't seen that before, though it did make me a little dizzy, and I think someone with motion sickness might have a tough time with this. My recommendation would be to have longer roads and smoother turns - e.g. less 90 degrees. I think you could find a balance without ruining the cool chaotic feel of the game.
Great work!
Great sound effects. :D And I don't really know if I'm a bad driver or the pedestrians who walk like there are no cars around, or am I just a bad driver.
Well done!
felt like gta. Loved it. A bit nauseating tho.
Really cool entry! Thats the first time I've seen the top down view that rotates with the player and once I got used to it it was very sick, makes the whole game feel really dynamic and impactful. The attention to detail really sells it too, the way the camera zooms in and out based on speed, and how the bike noises respond to player input. I'm also gonna have to keep it in my bookmarks so I have instant access to the wilhelm scream button lol. Great entry, thanks for making it!
Not enough games include the Wilhelm Scream any more, we have forgotten our roots.
Good game! Very chaotic in a good way, and the minimap was very helpful
This takes me back to GTA 1 days. Great use of hilhelm scream.
Fun game! The car controls do feel a bit chaotic but that adds to the charm :)
ig it would be nicer if the markers of the delivery pedestrians were a bit larger coz I ended up hitting quite a few of them :c
Fun nonetheless!
p.s. I would love it if you guys could try out my game as well!
cheers
pretty fun game with a cool concept!
The game is meant to be fast, but it does not penaltize slow and careful driving. I like the idea but I don't like hitting every recipient (maybe it should have a larger hitbox).
Fun game, reminds me a bit of Crazy Taxi. Driving round and round made me a bit dizzy (especially with the swirling movement of the camera). The sound effects when running over a pedestrian were amazing. I also like the addition of the amount of people you ran over on the leaderboard.
had such a blast playing this game, the car handling felt very chaotic but in a really fun and engaging way! learning the mechanisms behind the vehicle turn speed and crash penalties while actively avoiding oil spills and oncoming pedestrians felt super fun, especially when trying to go for a fast time with zero casualties. the difference between collider sizes of the delivery zone and the pedestrians felt a bit unforgiving imo, but made those moments where you manage to deliver the package to them at high speeds all the more satisfying! the art and sound effects also add a lot of charm to the game as well, reminding me of a lot those old newgrounds games in the best way possible (also love the wilhelm scream)!
game was super addicting, had to get a sub-minute run for it! congrats on the submission!
Wow, sub-minute is actually quite impressive!
Glad you liked it :)
I killed a great many people on accident >:3
Seems interesting
The use of a top-down viewpoint was cool, especially combined with the zooming out of the spacebar boost!
The game is really dizzing lol, wasnt able to keep playing after a few moments :(
Ah, I was afraid I overdid the camera somewhat, but we didn’t have enough time to test. Sorry for that, and thanks for feedback!
