WOW Really phenomenal game! I really like the concept a lot. The loop theme comes through well with the gameplay, narrative, and environment design. Great job! Super impressive stuff~

Cool concept! Managing the disasters and then getting everything done in sequence is super satisfying.

Developer

This is a solid game, one of my favorite games in this jam! I really enjoyed solving the puzzle and figure it out by dying and repeating the loop. Artstle is cool and I liked that each one had small piece of personality (avatar and such). Really really good job!!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much!! so so happy to hear that their personalities were able to shine through with the avatars (definitely spent a lot of time making sure each sprite was unique and distinguishable haha :3) thank you so much for playing :D!!

This is really impressive, feels very polished in terms of graphics and UI (making it obvious to players what to click on can be really hard to do, especially in a more complicated game like this) and also has some interesting gameplay and it manages to make the puzzles interesting and complicated to interact with without being frustrating.

If you wanted to keep working on the game after the jam, I think one area you could improve is making the disasters (e.g. fire, glass breaking) feel more involved, so maybe one character needs to use their locked door sooner or something and it can't be prevented and getting the loop down and figuring out the order would have some more impact. But I'm mostly looking for things to nitpick for to provide some design feedback, this game is great!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for your feedback!! we really wanted to make sure the graphics made the gameplay clear to the player, so glad to hear we nailed that :D really great design feedback btw - perhaps in a future iteration, we'll do some more experimenting with level design and disaster difficulty. thank you so much for taking the time to play our game and provide amazing feedback <3!!

Wow. I enjoyed this game so much. This is an incredible effort and so so polished, and only in 4 days!! Simply amazing. Enjoyed playing through all of it till the end.

Awesome concept and execution. Throws you right in the action without knowing what to do, but then the process of figuring it out was a really satisfying puzzle. I also think the character portraits were a nice touch!

Developer

yay glad to hear it was a satisfying experience :D and glad to hear you liked the character portraits!! we really wanted to add art that gave more detail/characterization outside of sprite animations, so we're glad to hear you enjoyed them :3 thank you so much for playing <3!!

Developer

aww man sorry to hear that! maybe you can keep all 4 of them alive on another loop :3? thank you so much for playing our game!! i'll be sure to check out yours as well :D <3

It's a great concept to have to repeat loops to maximize your chances of survival! I admit that I struggled a lot at first, but then you understand the steps to follow. It's a nice interpretation of the jam theme! The visuals are super cool! Really a great game!

Developer(+1)

ayy glad to hear you enjoyed the game!! we were really hoping it would be a rewarding experience to finally figure out how to get everyone to survive, so we're happy to hear that came across well :D thank you so much for playing our game <3!!

Man you all did crazy well! Love the gimick with everyone having to save each other. It was also fun tring to figure out the order in which to get people to scan their hands, as yellow's scanner was blocked and was the hardest to get to, forcing you to wait for an oppertunity of saftey. I also liked that the hazards were not random and were actually scripted, making future runs play around planning to solve disasters right as they start instead of reacting to everything spiraling out of control.

Developer

It makes me so happy to see that you experienced the full extent of the intended game experience - recognizing the scripted disasters, looking for an opportunity of safety for yellow’s interaction, mastering the solution for disasters instead of doomspiraling. Very glad you had fun!

Developer

thank you soso much!! there was so much thought put into planning out the disasters, the timing, and the environment design, so we're glad to hear that it all came across as intentional :D thank you so much for the lovely feedback, and thank you so much for playing <3!!

Really love the art style. Took a few tries to finish, though it was really hard to keep track of everything and manage all the impending disaster like fire or cracked window.

Developer

haha yeah we loved having a bit of chaos in our disaster management :3c glad to hear you were able to finish though!! thank you so much for playing <3!!

Smart idea, well implemented !

Amazing! Really fun! It was cool going through a few times and optimizing my routes.

For next iteration you could make the icons for the disasters in the top left slighlty bigger so its easier to see which button to press to stop them

I also really liked the voice lines the characters yell out when they talk about the other players dying :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the great feedback! For the voice lines, I know I personally had a lot of fun drafting them to reveal some of the relationships between the crew. Would love to hear if you had any favorites!
