What a funny cute little game, until you get that dark turn :P I didn't realize that when you dash right or left, it's actually you going around the palm tree in 3d space, while the visuals remain 2D! Which I thought was cool. I love the game loop narrative of the monkey falling off the palm tree and that's where you upgrade. But instead of upgrading, you become old, and then ending the monkey's life is to get upgrade points. Perfectly conveying the idea of passing your knowledge onto your children, completing the cycle of life. You got me a little addicted there as well, I tried hard to reach the top. So good job!
