The main character—an orange cockroach—is surprisingly adorable and immediately draws attention. Its cartoonish charm, however, feels a bit out of sync with the rest of the game’s atmosphere. The visual environment and music lean toward a quiet, oppressive tone with subtle Lovecraftian vibes, creating a disconnect that may affect immersion.

I also ran into a few technical issues, including some serious lag and occasional crashes that required restarting the game. One moment that stood out was a falling trap on the second map that came with no warning—it caught me completely off guard and felt more frustrating than challenging. Some sort of hint, like a sound cue or shadow, would help players respond more fairly.

Going in, I expected a light, playful experience—something along the lines of Untitled Goose Game—based on the store page. But the actual gameplay felt much heavier, with a serious tone and quiet, atmospheric music. If this contrast was intentional, that’s totally valid, but it might be helpful to clarify the game’s tone in the description. A lot of horror or psychological games use playful or misleading summaries to set up surprise or tension—those could be useful references.

Overall, this is a creative and unique indie project. The character design is eye-catching, and both the visuals and audio show a clear artistic direction. With more refinement in tone consistency, player feedback, and technical stability, the game could offer an even stronger and more cohesive experience.

Woaw amazing scene, such a delight to evolve around the levels

The art is beautiful! The cockroaches' countless children are also very unexpected, but it's easy to get stuck during the game. The music is also very good!

Very unique artwork

Cannot rate the art highly enough; incredible for a jam. Had some issues getting stuck moving to the third plane of the "cube" but what a beautiful entry.

Very unique art style and game world! I think a commercial game with a similar (though more polished) art style would work really well! Unfortunately this game plays pretty janky since the collision detection is very weird and sticky, so I felt like I was being stopped randomly, which was really frustrating during the laser section. I also noticed that it's really easy to break the level transitions, even though I liked the style of the rotating 3D cube. For example, if you walk backward during the transition, then your character stays in the last room while the camera is in the next room. It's also difficult to tell what things you can and can't interact with or collide with. But overall it's a neat adventure game!
