It was scary, especially with the audio choices. I really felt the suspense of wondering whether something would make a noise or not, but I still enjoyed it.
Really nice puzzle horror game. I liked solving what should I do in which order to win :)
I also created horror game if you want to check it out, cheers.
Thanks for playing! Sure I'll check it out
I thought I was going crazy when I would put in the passcode and then not be able to pick up the gun. It was a little silly when I did figure out how to pick it up that shooting the wall won me the game haha. Also funny that my guy looks so much like yours, brothers maybe?
Oh yeah they're probably long lost brothers...
Btw shooting the wall is a creative solution , you see, when you shoot the killer is summoned outside the screen because you made noise, and apparently you were exactly aiming at him. Thanks for your feedback!
I actually wasn't intending to shoot him, it kind of just happened by accident. Oops!
Small simple puzzle game liked but hoped it was longer
Thanks for playing! I might update it in the future
really fun game
Thanks!
That password... it reminds me of a disaster, and when I type it in then the clock tower falls...
...
It was a very fun and creative puzzle. Good job with the art, but there needs to be a way to turn down the lose sound to match that of the BGM
Lol, it may or may not be intended.. jk! Thanks for the feedback!
ahh, so the solution IS violence :)
I was a bit confused why I was not able to pick up the gun while being hunted, but it seems it was intended, and not just a timing issue on my side.
Lol, yeah I'm afraid it IS :).. And yes, not being able to pickup the gun is intended... We thought about making it explode or something to prevent the player from wasting time on it, but I was afraid that players won't see it... But at least you can skip everything when you restart and type in the password right away if memorized. Thanks for your feedback!
I was sooo confused at first! :D Why am I being hunted? But alas, a nice short puzzle game (a bit too many jumpscare-style overly loud music for my taste, but I guess that's a genre thing). Anyway - I made it out alive!
(Also whooooo password-protects their LP player? ;)
Thanks for playing, glad you finished the game! About the LP player, it's not any LP player, it summons a ghost :))) ;It's just a jam game after all..
Thanks again for playing
Good job!
"Autofocus", i'll bear that in mind.. Thanks for your feedback!
I like the puzzle and the feel of the game! Audio was a jumpscare but it'd be cool to see more levels in the future! Nice!
Thanks for your feedback!
Okay so first off, the loud losing sound is really annoying. As for the looping thing, this feels like a standard losing mechanic. The first puzzle to get the key was fine, but I also didn't like the long password to remember and having to also write it (although it's a quite simple one). I got stuck on grabbing the gun because it wouldn't grab it, and stopped because I couldn't take the loud losing sound anymore after trying the same thing for a few times. Also I think that the concept of repeating the same puzzles over and over doesn't really work.
The art is really nice though.
Thanks for your feedback! The password isn't that bad, I think it's normal. However, the gun not being collectable was intentional, unfortunately we had to do that due to time pressure, but it's still a flaw. Btw, getting the gun right away isn't the solution, maybe you can delay the killer a bit by making less noise... Anyway, I hope you give it another try, and thanks again for the feedback!
