Yes, unfortunately, it is a game made to hook you, because the French word for "hook" is "crochet"...
This game is so lovely, such a cozy experience! Also I love how much I struggeled coordinating pressing the right buttons for the right action at the right time, this is exacly how I imagine myself trying to crochet so this really must be the best crochet simulator!

Very cute game ! It takes a bit of time following the rythm and noticing when to change color/change line/lock color but even if you're wrong you're staying at the same stitch so it's just making the process a bit longer
I'm a big fan of procedural ost so it was so cool to have instruments adding each time and having the climax of ending the pattern !
And then I liked the fact that each character in the narrative has his own color, it makes it easier to follow and it makes the player being sentimental about them

This was so cute and fun!! Felt cool to build things and pay attention to the patterns but with very little punishment (more supportive if you get it wrong, loved that) Loved this one a lot, thanks for makin' it!

A crochet game! We made one too, but ours is quite goofy whereas yours is very relaxing and wholesome. Good job adding an undo feature. That's the beauty of crochet: you can usually go back and fix mistakes.
Such a charming little game. The controls are a bit unintuitive, but it's still a very chill time with pretty much zero punishment for an accidental misclick. Given the nature of pictures using pixel art, I can easily see it becoming a bigger game with tons of patterns to complete.

Very creative idea, I liked that a lot! Unfortunately, the gameplay itself was not too enjoyable for me. I think it's mainly because it would take me a few more levels to really get a hang of a newly introduced mechanic, so I found it quite difficult to unlock a new mechanic every level. Also, I felt like the locking (middle mouse / backspace) was a bit unintuitive, or I didn't really understand the timing on this.
But overall, I loved the visuals and the idea a lot, it's really charming! :)
Love the game and the idea, very creative! As someone who crochets & knits this was very fun to play. I love the grandma character who illustrates what she hears about, super cute.
The only down side I would say is the audio. I loved the cozy vibe in the first two level but it felt a bit jarring after that, it sometimes felt that too many tracks played simultaneously and the higher frequencies were a bit too sharp for my taste.
