As others have said, the art in this game is incredible — it's actually what made me click on it in the first place!
The gameplay is super enjoyable. Turning a board game into a looping path is such a clever idea. The balance between moving to avoid attacks, collecting dice, and attacking is really well thought out.
I honestly think this game has strong potential beyond the jam.
Came for the ART. Very visually pleasing. This is a concept that you could definitely build out too. Tons of potential
first off: the artstyle is sensational! I wish there were more tiles with boxes, or actions to create more variety! Nonetheless it was enjoyable to play! I'd love to see more <3
Wow this is impressive for a game jam. Great work
Trees probably shouldn't have a collision 🤔 But! It was still incredibly fun!! Beat it on attempt 3 haha
Oh right, and it might have just been the web build but the audio was just a lot of sharp static?
Yeaah sometimes the dice gets stuck with the tree hitbox, but it would go flying out of the screen without it soo at the end I hadn't time to think about a solution. Also there's an ambience sound may be the sharp static you're mentioning, I thought it added a cool touch but maybe it gets annoying after a while, sorry if it was that. Thanks for playing anyway!! <3
Cool! I really enjoyed this one, it's a good balance of luck and strategy!
Nice game! Feels neat and polished. I really love the music choice and the art style, reminds me of cult of the lamb! YEA FROGS 🐸
I love the art style and the concept is really creative great job :3
The art is amazing! I like the idea of the tabletop mixed with die in the dungeon. It is an awesome prototype, a lot of scalability potential just by adding more slots and enemies, well done!
Very cute, loved the art and presentation, it would've been nice to be able to manipulate the dice rolls somehow (maybe by adding dice from the inventory to add to the move value) to help with RNG, but overall it's a nice idea executed well!
Very nice artstyle. The gameplay is engaging, though there's a lot that's decided by luck, which can lead to some unfair moments, but overall it's a great game.
What can I say : amazing art, sound and mood. I'm a sucker for TRPG and the idea was so clever. And you've managed to make the idea more interesting with the loot and the dices. To this point, I've rated about 20 entries from this Jam and this the first 10/10 I stumble upon.
I loved the idea of using the cyclical board from board games in a battle game.
Very fun, and with a very striking aesthetic (a mix of Don't Starve and Hollow Knight).
My only gripe is that sometimes the die gets stuck in one of the trees and ends up not rolling properly (I rolled 1 three times in a row because of this, lol T.T.)
Cool idea! Once I really got into it, the strategy took me by storm!
Great Visual and Feeling! definitely has the potential to become a mid-sized roguelike.
Awesome artwork! A great visual package and some cool gameplay depth. Would love to see how you could expand on the gameplay ideas even further. Nice work!
This was super cute. I managed to get a win on my first try though I only realised how to use the bonus dice right at the end. The board and movement reminds me a lot of monopoly.
I had some issues with the movement dice rolling off screen, but that may just be because I was playing fullscreen in the web build rather than the download.
A good ground layer to expand on with more mechanics and enemies!
I absolutely love the camera + aesthetic on this! It's such a fun little concept :) The minor camera move when you move your mouse is a really nice little detail!
