Nice entry! The feedbacks on the menu were really great!

It was refreshing to see a game where you could just enter without any tutorial and immediatly understand the concept and the goal! I liked the settings of the differents rooms being screens. I really wish there were more levels because it was quite good!

I loved seeing the golden eggs come out from the screen every time :)

Developer

Thank you for playing and enjoying! Unfortunately the first 4 levels were done as a 'proof of concept' while I was starting the game and the last one was literally made just before I submitted so the level design didn't have as much love put into it. I asked in your game if the level design was difficult and you said no which surprised me because mine took quite a bit of thinking and trying to make sure that it had somewhat of an 'intended' solution which made it difficult to mass produce levels. I'm sure with time though there could be many more puzzles with much more interesting solutions. But we'll see what happens after the jam.

Yeah I understand. Time constraints are part of jams after all, you must work with these limitations.

I understand wanting to have an intended solution. To elaborate on my process, I did try to design them with an intended solution in mind, but often when I tested them I found several other (and sometimes better) solutions. But in this case I decided it was totally fine to leave multiple solutions because it made everything less difficult and didn't remove the fun of trying to figure out which hands must hold each other. So I guess that's also why it was faster to design than levels with a single, intended solution.

But I already found your game nice, even if it's mostly a proof of concept, you're right I feel like there's a lot that could be build upon here.

Quite short, but at least it's a cool proof of concept. I also liked the vibe and there must be various ways to expand this in the future. Nice job 👍

I defs agree with you, we'll see what happens after this jam. Thanks for playing!

Really clever and well executed puzzle mechanic.

Loved the aesthetic with the monitor set up and the golden eggs. Gave it that perfect amount of weirdness and intrigue.

Developer

Thank you! Exactly what I was going for!

I enjoyed the puzzles, and that they're stylized as these 9 screens. But my favourite part are eggs popping out of those screens and rolling around 😄

Developer(+1)

Thank you! It was important to me that there was a bit of a silly aspect to the game and also that it was satisfying to actually win.

The idea and execution is spot-on. Really good. From a game design perspective maybe requiring the user to wait is not the best, don’t have any better ideas though. Enjoyed it a lot!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! I defs agree with you there. The pause on the third level is intended to slow the game right down so the player can ‘plan’ their path. In an ideal world, I’d probs have an animation, or a screen glitch, or a voice line… but it was a little out of scope for this jam.

That was one delightful puzzle. Just the right amount of 'ooooh I get it' moments to be challenging but also fun combined with really nice artwork makes this being (from what I understang) a one person project is WILD. Great job, this was super fun!

Developer

Thanks alot for the kind words! I did work on this myself and being one of my first solo games, it was nice to have the freedom to do what I wanted to do.

Wow! Great game! The idea is super creative, and the atmosphere is really well built! And I loved the care with sound design as well. Congrats on making this great game in such a small timespan!

Developer

Thank you! I'm pretty sure I looked like a mad man trying to find the perfect sounds for this game haha.

The concept is brilliant and fits the theme really well.  Good to see a unique idea, done well.  Very clear and simple.  It has a lot of potential.  Currently, it's far too short and easy.  Nice touch with the menu screen having the same layout as the game.

Developer(+1)

I defs agree with you there. The level design was rushed in terms of quantity and quality however I believe that there could be some really cool and interesting puzzles. And thanks about the menu screen, im happy with how that turned out.

Man you gotta get youself out there! This game is really well done and very polished and feels good and rewarding to play! Sad to see only 9 ratings )`: People are missing out!

Also I'd appreciate feedback on my submission if you get a chance!

Developer

Thanks for that!

You put so much effort into your game, congrats!!

Developer

Thank youuuuuuu!!!!!!!

Absolutely underrated entry, it's heartbreaking to see so much effort go completely unseen. As opposed to many other games (including mine) in jams like these, your entry is actually a polished, playable game, with a voice over on top of that. I see room for improvement in the number of levels of course, but other than that, awesome game.

Developer(+1)

Awww thanks for those kind words! I will admit that my level design was rushed but I think the game has a lot of potential for some really cool puzzles.

great job! really easy to understand and really intresting mechanic! The eggs pouring out each time was rewarding but also so strange!

Developer

Thank you! I did think that the eggs were a bit of fun haha.
