How does your game fit the theme?
You have to reach a required score through a "for" loop (from coding) that you can alter with items.

Really good idea and interpretation, Im glad I found it!
I enjoyed the concept a lot. Kind of hard to do the mental math to decide which was the best starting loop, end loop, and increment value lol.
Thank you!!
Soo cool idea!
I really like rougelikes and I'm happy I got to play this one!
Really cool that you use code to gain score.
Well done! Amazing job :D
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
I think this is such a cool concept especially cause you've restricted it to for loops. really great execution and i'd love to see some variations in the calculations to update the variety as you go on
Thank you a lot!!
I think the concept is really cool and I like the whole aesthetics of the game! I think that adding more upgrades that introduce more strategy would be nice! Overall, I love the whole vibe of the game and I feel like the concept has a lot of potential! Great work!
Also, this is unrelated. I thought I recognized your profile picture and I realized that remembered your game from the Goedware game jam 14! It's cool I was able to find your game in the GMTK game jam too!
Thank you so much for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it :))
Oh yeees!! I remember your game too! Crazy that you checked out this game out of all the submissions in the GMTK game jam!!
Really nice Concept. This reminds me of games such as Balatro and Insider Trading (It's just a demo, but very fun demo). it was very nicely put together and the UI fits the theme you're going for very well. As others have said, the strategy was really easy to come up with, and sometimes you depend a lot on luck, but the "perks" that you could get made it interesting, The Ying and Yang was quite hard to pull up, because I always ended up losing on turn 2 when I got the Ying/Yang so I could never get them both at the same time.
Overall a very nice game. Good luck!
Thank you for playing!! Yes, the game wasn't properly balanced during the gam and the ying and yang were a hard combination... I didn't know about Insider Trading (I'm gonna add it to my list to check it out, thanks!)
Nice concept, although if I get it, it was basically just a "roll the dice game".
At first I thought the numbers that I did not choose would go to the next round but it kept being random. What ends up happening is you basically always choose:
So the game gets boring quite quickly. But if you add some variety to the code, or make it so that you can not see certain part of the code and have to make a calculated guess, it should be more fun.
Anyways, cool concept, nicely done, but the gameplay aspect gets boring quickly.
Overall I liked it!
Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it!! Yes, unfortunately there wasn't enough time to implement many items to change the strategy of the game. There are two items (I'm not sure if you got them) that require 3 or less repetitions of the loop, so you have to choose smaller numbers for the END VALUE. And sometimes, you have to choose for the largest to be either the ADD VALUE or the END VALUE based on the items you've chosen. But I totally get what you are saying, so thank you for the ideas that you suggested!
Yessss number go up!!! I like it a lot. My only comment would be that the chromatic aberration makes reading the tutorial text a little bit strenuous on the eyes but otherwise great game.
This was a fun and well polished example of how making a big number going up can be fun if done right! I completed the final level without too much effort but it felt like I had to do just the right amount of thinking.
The audio was nice and not too intrusive. I did find the visual blurring a little distracting and would have preferred and option to disable it. I think the inventory choices really help make which numbers to input a little more exciting.
Thank you for such a fun game!
It would be really nice if you can drop by and checkout my team's entry for the jam here:

I'm glad you enjoyed it :D thank you for your kind words and the feedback. I'll make sure to add an option in the settings for the visual blurring after the game jam!
Great game! It;'s great to see something so practical and polished, it was really clear to me what I had to do.
If you were to develop this further, being able to put together your own code would be really nice to seperate this game from Balatro. (Then you can also make some nice synergies)
Thank you very much for playing and your feedback :))
Awesome job! The chromatic aberration was hurting my eyes a little bit but, the idea was a solid take on the Balatro style of game and the visual aesthetic fit perfectly.
Thank you so much for playing :) I'll make sure to add an option in the settings to disable the chromatic aberration in the update after the game jam!
Interesting idea with the multipliers, I didn't really get what the Ying Yang multiplier was unless I missed something but I enjoyed it otherwise
Thank you for playing! About the Ying Yang, there were two multipliers, Ying and Yang. You have to have both of them in your inventory to activate them. Maybe we didn't explain it well on their description and you only had one of them.
Enjoyable audio and polished visuals. I like the base idea of the gameplay, but currently it feels like there’s always an obviously correct choice of numbers. I think if the unchosen numbers were left in your “inventory” it could add more decision making.
Thank you for the feedback!! Yes, we didn't have time to implement more items to change the choice of numbers (although there are two items, which require 3 or less repetitions of the loop, so you have to choose smaller numbers). Leaving the unchosen numbers is a really great idea, thank you for sharing!!
It's ironic because the code for my game doesn't use a single for loop, lol. This is great! I especially love the visuals matched with the sound design.
Cool visuals, and made me realize how bad I am at mental math!
After coding until 4 am during 4 days i'm not capable of fully enjoying it, but it is awesome and very well presented.
Someone had to use for loops somewhere, great job :)
Very cool roguelike!
beep beep boop! I dread the moment I don't see a 1 in my array. Amazing trinket game <3
Really cool idea of combining balatro like gameplay with coding theme. You could add some options to also change the logic of the loop itself.
