This is is pretty fun! I really enjoyed the visuals and sound designs of this game. The main mechanics reminds me of Plants vs. Zombies, in a different interpretation, haha.
I thought it was kinda weird that an enemy ship can fly straight through the sun, haha, but it's not that big of a deal. The upgrades were a bit sparse for this genre, but understandable for a jam game.
Overall a nice job!
