Nice game with impressive visuals and good gameplay, but I have encountered some issues with the scaling of the in the web version, but overall the game is amazing for three days jam game

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for the feedback! I'm sorry you ran into scaling issues :/ It means a lot that you could look past this and still enjoy the game. I really appreciate you calling it amazing! :)

Very fast! But it seems I have encountered some clipping issues.

Developer

thank you! glad you enjoyed the speed :)  and you're right, the roads are generated meshes that needs fixing and polish, but I'm working on it for the post-jam update, stay tuned! :) thank for playing!

Looked like a really fun game with impresive lighting and camera work but just couldnt get it running on my web version

Developer

I'm so sorry you couldn't get it running! web build can be unpredictable. thank you for the kind words on the lighting and camera, though. I really appreciate you trying to play and leaving a comment anyway!

This game is really fun... The sense of speed is amazing. Honestly, one of the most fun games in the jam ive played.

Developer

thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it that much!

I really like that idea that you have to earn your nitro by playing a little mini game. Had so much fun playing this!

Developer

Thank you! the nitro mini-game was one of the core ideas, so I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed it! :). Thanks for playing and for taking the time to comment!

The car controls really well and the turbo effect its really nice, would love to see this game with music and sound effects!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I spent a lot of time trying to get a speed effect that feel good, music and sound effects were the first things I had to cut for time, but they will be in the post-jam update! Thanks for playing!

Such a cool game! Big fan of the originality here. The visuals were great! I’ve got Doppelchain in the mix too, would love your feedback if you’re down. Nice work!

Developer

thank you for the awesome comment! i'm happy you liked the concept and the visuals. I'd be happy to check out your game :)

Can definitely see the vision and it’s awesome. Currently, there are a few bugs, I got stuck a lot for example. Still though, had fun!

Developer

thank you so much! It's encouraging that you could see the vision through the bugs. I'm sorry you got stuck a lot, there is a definitely some polishing to do, but I'm glad that you still managed to have fun. thanks for playing!

I like the idea! The execution leave a bit to be desired in some area. The driving was actually really fun, the car controls great and the nitro minigame is a nice touch. Sadly the road geometry is a bit messed up and you glich through quite a lot. With some more polish there is a solid idea here, great work!

Developer(+1)

thank you for the feedback! I'm happy that the driving and the nitro mechanic felt fun to you. You are right about the road geometry, its meshes generated from splines but the intersections are not working correctly, I'm currently fixing this for the post-jam update but did not have enough time to fix it during the jam. Thanks for playing!

Reminds me of crazy taxi! I like where you're going with this! I had a few errors that made me restart - I landed on the side of the taxi and couldn't move. I also couldn't get the audio to work, is there music?

Developer (1 edit)

the crazy taxi comparison is a huge compliment, thank you! I'm sorry you ran into those bugs, the physics still needs fixes, that's why I added the respawn button. As for the audio, you didn't miss anything, there isn't any, I completely ran out of time to add sound effects or music. thanks for having fun despite the issues!

It was a bit hard to see what was ahead, so I ended up crashing a lot when using the nitro boost  But overall, great execution!

Developer

thank you for playing and for the feedback!

The driving feels really good, nice drifting. I like the nitro mini-game, though it's hard to look at the road while playing it. The bright yellow and blacks work nicely together. I can see everything clearly even at these speeds. Looks nice too.

Respawn was essential. A reverse button would have been great in its place a lot of times. I just needed a little backing up to be on my way.

I fell through the world a few times only to find another city beneath me. I feel like you took a bug and turned it into a feature there. It was pretty cool anyway. Another loop.

Fun arcade-y game.

Thank you for this amazing, detailed feedback! I'm happy you enjoyed the driving and the visual. the nitro game was tricky to balance, to make it easier I made the time slow down, but maybe its not enough and i should look into making it easier. Also a reverse button is a fantastic suggestion, the respawn button was definitely the solution in the game jam rush.

Falling through the floor was something I experienced a lot too during play testing,  but as I did not have enough time for fixing it, I just added more roads haha. your interpretation of it as "another loop" is brilliant, though! Thanks for playing!

Artistically, the game is solid — the lighting is beautiful, the building distortion effect when you pass by looks really cool, and the white streak VFX add a great sense of speed.

It's a shame the game feels a bit unfinished, with missing audio and a few bugs here and there.

But there's definitely potential!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! It still needs bug fixing and polish indeed, it means a lot that you could see the potential through the jam jank :)

This game has a lot of potential. I hope you keep working on it after the game jam. Keep it up!

If possible, please consider rating my game too.

Developer

Thank you so much! That's incredibly motivating to hear. I'm already working on a post-jam update, so I really appreciate the encouragement. I'll check out your game and leave a rating. Thanks again!
