How does your game fit the theme?
It has a gameplay loop! I had other plans, but sadly not enough time.

smooshed those little guys.
A little slow to progress, but reminds me of that old squishing-ants game on the ipod. Could do with some audio feedback, as others have suggested, and a little more variety. Having more orcs spawn to begin with could leave us with less time just waiting at the start. only a few bits of art, but the stuff that's there is good! i liked the little squish animation as well.
Cute idea! The gameplay loop is similar to clicker games so I could see this being very satisfying with some further work. Nice job!
I think it would've been nice if all money was auto collected at the end instead of forcing you to hoover it up. I also wonder (despite the theme) if it would've been better to let the player click to smash. Combining that with faster orcs and reducing HP for every missed smash or something could've made it a more game-y game. Maybe that was never the intent, but it's what ended up in my head as I was playing.
Cute little simple game!! Well done. The orcs and their little walk are so cute I didn't really want to smash them :-P . Audio & some effects or screen shake maybe would have added more juice and made it feel more fun.
Unique idea! I can see this becoming something really great if you polish it up. I had fun, like others have said, some audio would help and the upgrades are pretty pricey. You can time the hits pretty well but I think adding some anticipation through animation or effects would be nice. Seriously though, I think this has a lot of potential to become a captivating game. Great work!
Gameplay loop is kinda a stretch to fit the theme, but overall the game was pretty decent! The few bits of art was pretty good and the upgrade system wasnt too bad! Overall not the worst game ever, you should be happy anyway :D
Fun little game, maybe a little stress reducer too for those who don't like orcs. There's a lot to be desired; the lack of audio sort of takes away a bit from the game. Even a bit of audible feedback with the orcs getting crushed or even the hammer just smashing the ground would help a lot! As for gameplay, it is quite grindy. I'm generally okay with it, but I imagine that can potentially be a problem for others if the game feels too repetitive with little to no change for too long. It might help, at least for a prototype, to lower the costs of upgrades to help alleviate this issue. That being said, it was frustrating to smash the last orc with the hammer's remaining hp, having its money pop out, only to be blocked by the game over message preventing me from collecting it. Auto-collecting the money, or just allowing money collection even on game over would be nice.
Regardless, the game was still pretty fun despite its flaws, good work!
you have a great start to something here, some juicy sound effects and were smashing it!
Actually felt bad for the lil orcs :< unique idea good game!
Nice game, would love some orc variants like fast or strong ones!
Nice little game. Some more varied abilities would have been nice to spice up the gameplay.
Some audio would have done wonders. The squish animation on the orcs was really nice! Great job
Quite like the little orcs getting smashed. did need some audio to make it extra satisfication
The orcs are so cute, I don't want to smash them! lol
Fun game, I thought the unbalanced economy was actually kindof funny
I'd like if the hammer got damaged on every hit, not just orcs, would add some pressure
I also wasn't always able to collect the coin that drops on the last orc before the hammer breaks
Good work!
