Jam
It was fun! The game I made was more complicated then intended, but I think offers a good amount of complexity for a jam game.

I think it was a good exercise trying to fit a lot of information into a small screen with as little UI as possible. (or as minimal UI as possible ig)

Interesting little strategic game what I would even call borderline puzzle-y due to not needing to defeat all enemies, just to survive long enough. Gives small Into The Breach, and was kinda said it ended so early. Little bit more added on top, other skills and items and you got a solid game on your hands!

Graphically it is cute, and gets everything across that it needs to, audio sadly was terribly loud on normal levels, please pay attention to that next time when you submit a game.

This is one is really nice and smooth, I liked gameplay and music and overall art. Good tutorial at the start also.

Your team did a great job!

Developer

Thank you!! I’m glad you liked it.

Reminds me of into the breach. Nice tactical game, good job implementing that on the given resolution.

Developer

thanks! It took a surprisingly high amount of effort to get all the information to feel cohesive at 64x64

I love tactical combat games so this was a nice surprise :) The visuals are great, and the gameplay is intuitive! The last level is a bit too tough for me, but overall it was fun to play, great job!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm also glad the last level ended up being hard as I wasn't sure if it was too easy haha.

As a fan of Into The Breach, this game is right up my alley! The gameplay really scratches that tactics itch, and figuring out that I could pull my own units away from enemies was a game changer!

I did have an issue where the "how to play" section was completely skipped every time I went to look at the next slide, so other than knowing what buttons to press I had to figure out how to play on the fly. Maybe adding the how to play slides to the game's itch page would help anyone else that encounters a similar issue.

That minor bug aside, it's a great game! Will be revisiting this one for sure.

I'm so glad it didn't feel flat!!

No idea why the tutorial doesn't work, that whole section works weird i think its one of the "it works on my computer" type of deals.

I wrote a short section in the desc, and also just added a picture

I'm really glad you liked it!!!!!!!!!!11!11!!

Nice pastel palette and relaxed rhythmic music. But I couldn't appreciate the game itself. The web version doesn't respond to input after the window with a hint on hot keys (maybe it's my browser, mozilla firefox), and the downloaded archive is empty or damaged :D

Developer

That happened for one of my friends and I have NO idea why. I use firefox and it works fine so im really not sure. (also didnt even notice windows download being empty lol)

Thanks for the positive feedback on the palette on music!

Good job, I liked the design and the setting, but I would have preferred a more intense color palette.

Developer

Thanks! The color palette is one where most people either really like it, or just don't care for it.

Great production! I don’t like this kind of game at all, but the interactions were so juicy and satisfying that it kept me going for three levels.
