I had a lot of fun working on this submission. This jam was a great opportunity to try to work in LOVE2D and to make something a little bit less serious.

Pretty cute game. Beavers are awesome. Unlike fat rabbit, which I probably drowned by fixing the dam :D
There seems to be a bug in the jumping which sometimes flings you way higher than intended.
Thank you for the kind words!
The bug seems to be caused by the player pressing multiple “jump” buttons at once, like up and space.
Well that was lovely ! I loved how the introduction is super simple but present the game so well. Characters are all looking super nice and fun, it's cool to feel the progression along the map. Great entry !
Lovely little premise as a fellow bóbr enjoyer, I was looking forward to this game! Super excited to see you explore higher resolution graphics, seeing your wip stuff and this as well really hypes your future work up for me.
Mechanically my only complaint is maybe the camera could use a smoother movement/buffering, otherwise enjoyed what we have here.
The area was nicely designed, I was fearing the bunny getting flooded but looks like it got out! Well done!
I loved the art and premise of the game, it was very a cozy experience. I managed to get the double jump and skip the the end of the game by double tapping jump quickly next to the owl. The platforming in general felt a bit stiff, with a fast but heavy jump, and too-snappy left/right movement. If the platforming were improved, I could easily see this game in the top ten, though the graphics probably get it there already.
P.S. Stealing the carrot from the bunny was funny
There are many things I liked in your game, first of all the atmosphere and the message... the characters are perfect in their design and in their words... I really liked the graphics, especially the animation of the water flowing when you place a log... the whole progression is nice throughout. On the other hand, I find that the jump is a little steep, a little too vertical, we fall back quickly... it's not penalizing for the progression... and also some sound feedback even if the music is very pleasant.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I am glad to hear that the atmosphere and the overall message landed well.
Charming!
Found a weird bug: Swimming up right after delivering the third log, I was able to keep swimming into the sky. After landing, couldn’t do it again. (and no harm done of course)
I really like the way we can always see the next platform, from the decorative plants and such.
Thank you for playing and for reporting the bug. I thought I had managed to fix this one before submitting, but apparently not :)
Adorable animals and the game itself!
A bober game, amazing! :D
[insert that Polish meme]
Jumping is a bit too "sharp". A common trick is to lower gravity while the jump key is pressed to allow for different jump heights depending on how long a jump input is held (yes, this is unphysical, but very intuitive for gameplay). And the gravity is perhaps a bit too strong and could use some way to limit the falling speed (either by implementing a cutoff or friction). For swimming, jump input could be used alongside up input to swim up, for more intuitive controls.
Lovely graphics, well polished look. Super cute! And I saved the pond! :)
Those are great tips. Thank you! I think I’ll tweak the jumping a bit in the post-jam update. I am glad to hear the pond is finally safe :) Thanks for playing!
Love the art
The visuals are very nice, but I agree with others that it was sometimes difficult to see which platform to jump to. Other than that it was an enjoyable game, well done :)
Truly charming little game! Appreciate the implementation of coyote time for the platforming as it no doubt saved me on a couple of sections. A camera look-ahead might help on certain jumps, as a few times I had to take a leap of faith where I couldn't the see the landing. All in all, loved the atmosphere; the bunny demolishing carrots was my favorite animal encounter. Well done!
I really like the pixelart, and how chill the whole game are. Nice one!
If your goal was to humiliate others, you succeeded quite well. Good job, friend. I loved the pixel art; it's so peaceful and relaxing. Very nice project
What a delightful game. I really loved the pixel art and the fun characters/dialogue. The platforming was good and it was cool to see the level transform over time.
I did find a game breaking way to "hyper jump" by pressing space bar and up right after each other when you get double jump. You basically fly way high in the air and can skip the rest of the game.
Wonderful game. Thank you for making it!
