It was fun game till I figured out the tongue shoots out. Then it got really exciting. :D
Able to blow up the balloons was a cool touch. I even tried to eat the birds, but soon learned my lesson. :P

Enjoyed it a lot. Great job!

Very cute. The sound design and sprite work looks pretty nice, and I liked the introduction of different colors of balloons later in the game.

A bit off topic but the buttons and their sound really felt satisfying

beatiful and cute game. The only thing missing is a nice soundtrack but the rest is perfect!

Developer

Thanks. Also game has soundtrack but I set its volume to 0 by default in the settings during development and forgot to turn it on when I uploaded it. You can turn it on yourself.

This was a satisfying game to play. Popping the balloons felt really good. Nice work on the submission!

nice entry, simple working game loop, wish there some boons to shoot downwards.

Developer

Thanks. I thought about it but didn't know how to implement it

This was fun and the art is so cute! I really love the frog's different expressions as  well! This game was really good and a nice entry to the jam! Great game!

This is a very solid entry! And one of the few entries that actually went in on sound lol. Consistent and cute style throughout, a simple game loop but well executed. The floaty movement feels great, and the frogs tongue works well and is fun. Maybe mix the bird cries just a little lower XD ha

Developer

Thanks. Perhaps the birds are a bit noisy

The game is beautiful, the sound is on point and the movement is great! Loved!

I loved your art and having the options menu is great. I liked the progression in your game, like the red balloons and the green balloons and the purple balloons. I wished I had more flies to eat with the frog or had another type of reward system.

Developer

Thanks. Maybe i will update it later

Very cute game, the whole thing feels very polished. I did get some bug when the tongue tried going back in the mouth, but nothing that ever actually impacted gameplay.

So many people do this, I don't understand why. Why are not all the pixels not the same size? Your art is beautiful, but it absolutely ruins the immersion for me when I see that the health bar has larger pixels than the frog, which has larger pixels than the clouds. Everything is so well made, just this bothers me. But I dunno, maybe it's a me problem :(

I don't think mixels are a huge problem in a jam. For a full release, yes, it looks amateurish, but with the time limit for a jam, just getting nice looking assets is all that really matters.

Developer(+1)

Thanks. I didn't notice that the pixels were different sizes. Well, except maybe on the clouds.

Lovely art, I liked being able to pop balloons to make new paths
