Pretty cool concept, though i didn't really like it's execution, except for maybe art and sounds. Also, there's no tutorial so i had no idea what the heck i was doing at first. There're also a lot of bugs

How does your game follow the theme?
Its main loop centres around incoming waves of enemies, and it also has an ocean theme (oceans have waves...) :=)

This definitely felt like I was in the middle of an underwater RPG battle. I could definitely envision scooting around an underwater world map with this little guy. Nice work!
Really nice game. I love the cartoony art style. I would have liked to have known what each card did before using it.
Really fun, didnt get the idea why some items are effective or not but i love the artstyle. The music is sweet and the gameplay smooth and fitting. Good job!
Thanks a lot! I am glad you had fun! The idea is that you had to take a look at the words of the cards and the words of the enemies, and though about if they would be more or less effective. The fault that this system didn't come across 100% lies with me, since I run out of time to select the best words for each card and enemy, and make sure the whole thing was balanced. Thanks again!
Cute art and the game mechanics are really fun! It took me some time to memorize the counter item for each fish
Thanks! happy that you found the game mechanics fun! The basic premise was that you had to in fact memorise the interactions. Where I dropped the ball, was that I run out of time, to make sure the words of the cards and the enemies made more sense with the art, and with the actual interactions of cards vs enemies.
Fun game! I really like slay the spire so this one was a big yey for me.
The art is cute and funny, the game plays well and its easy to understand the mechanics. well done!
good job guys! There are nice Sly the Spire vibes, if you had that inspiration, congrats! You could turn it into a really nice roguelike deck builder! And see how a little soldier ink becomes the captain ink we know today :)
Very good visuals! I especially like the card hovering animations. I do wish it has some better sfx when you play them though, right now it's just a very quiet "thunk" sound, which is not very satisfying. The music is kinda nice, but just a little repetitive since it's so short, but it does have different songs in the different levels, so that's a good thing.
With the traits of the card being so small visually and the traits of the fishes being hidden by default, I think it kinda devolves into just playing random cards until you draw into whatever card you remember as super effective on a particular enemy, which I found not exactly super engaging. I found it to rely too much on memorization instead of strategizing and that is not as fun.
This graphics are really looking good. The traits are a bit confusing and I have to trial & error to figure which card is effective. Anyway, I beat all the levels. That was fun!
Fun and interesting game. After a while I was swarmed by enemies so it's def challenging! Good job.
After defeating hammer dolphin... I was stuck...
Overall very good concept...
Art is top tier... 10 stars...
Music was good...
And gameplay was fun...
The art is incredible, the sound effects are perfect, and the gameplay is fluid and responsive. I found the way the cards work to be very creative and would love to play more levels ( ˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ
I really liked the art and it is indeed top notch! Really interesting idea on the theme waves here and I think it fits in pretty well! Great job!
I LOVE THE ART SO MUCH!!! The gameplay is also very fun, although the game broke at some point and enemies were no longer spawning, but it is a great effort regardless, good job!
