I love how the allies were basically smart missiles you buy. Flying around was smooth and fun. This reminds me of a remake of a classic space game from the 80's. Would love to see additional upgrades for your fighter and allies. A boss tier "ace pilot" enemy would be a great addition. You could spot him by his fighter painted red!

Thanks for the kind words and suggestions!

I had upgrades planned, but had to cut it :(

Its funny game, especially ship physics when they form giant ball, butt I don't understand what it have to do whit 80s, oh and counting is buggy.

Developer

Hey, Thanks for playing!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game. The connection to the 80s is in the mission briefing. Linber and Susair are anagrams of Berlin and Russia. I definitely should have added more story somewhere and made it more clear.

I knew about the counting bug, but only really had time to wrap up exporting and fixing issues there before the jam ended.

Pretty fun game. I love the weighty controls of the ship and the automatically aiming turrets are great! I do wish the enemies were a bit smarter, because even with almost no ships in my fleet, I can beat the Enage (250 Ships) mission no problem: Just move around a bit and they all cluster up, making circle camping them all trivial! I also have no idea how this fits the theme "Back to the 80's," as it seems very futuristic. Perhaps it's 2080's? There also seems to be bugs with how counting destroyed ships on both your own fleet and the enemies. Often, there will be negative ships in my fleet and negative enemies remaining! I enjoy watching my fleet destroy the enemies, and getting more is fun!

Ah yeah, it's in reference to the Berlin wall falling in 1989.

I just made anagrams of Berlin and Russia in the mission briefings.

No idea why the counters go negative, lol. It shouldn't be possible.

Thanks for playing!
