How does your game follow the theme?
Use SoundWAVES against WAVES of enemies.

Did you use any pre-made assets? If so, credit them here:
I made most of the assets myself, you can download them on my profile for free. Some char models are from synthy and the sound from freesound.org.

It does not load, just black screen on my end. At first it asked me to install Visual C++, after launching it is just black for a while. Sorry I cannot play it. But I will still rate the graphics, creativity of idea and theme.

Firstly, the 3D models and visual materials look stylish and amazing. They are like papers. The idea sounds great, reading from the description and the theme integration is consistent. Great work, regardless of my issue.

Thank you for the kind words! I got to find out what is wrong with the build somehow, multiple people couldnt play or the GPU tanked far too much and it was laggy. Sry i tried some new stuff i never did before - learning by doing right? ;) Big thanks for trying mate - gonne try to improve more to get the next game better and better!

I managed to test your game fine enough, but even with a beefy PC, it started taking out resources like hell, so you may have some optimization issues. The game looks great!

Developer

Thanks you for the feedback mate. I have quiet a beefy PC as well and didnt even realise it was so demanding πŸ˜€

Nice game! The scenery and lighting looks great and I also liked the low poly art style πŸ€©

Thanks mate! I didnt get to finish the gameplay loop sadly πŸ˜€ spent top much time on asthetics. Btw, did you have any loading problems as well?

Submitted(+1)

I didn’t experience any loading issues, but it only lagged a little while I was playing

Hey I can run the game but it takes a while to load the main menu. The options doesn't work tho for some reasons. It would be great if there are some kind of tutorials like what each drums do and how to select each drums instead of letting the player presses each and every key to see which one works. At first I thought its like a top-down tower defense game but then when I tried WASD, I can actually control a character. Got some performance issue which I guess is too many objects in a scene even though each objects are kinda low poly but they do build up. Would love to have a back to main menu button instead of exit game button πŸ˜… I really liked the art style you use there tho, the scene is actually beautiful even tho it is low poly. The way you populate the scene is actually chef kiss. Great work there!

Hey I wanted to try this out but it crashes on my PC as the start of level after loading πŸ˜

Developer(+1)

Oh nooo! :( Thats so sad! I dont know why that is tbh. I tried the gamebuild multiple times and it worked for me. Should be possible to play. Is anyone else having those problems?

Submitted(+1)

yes same problem to me man so sorry but I hope to play it after the voting ends  and you fixed the problem so keep it up man

Developer

Damn :( thats not good. You could try the 1.0 version - it was released half a day before the deadline and isn’t that far developed - but maybe that one works? I gonne try to find the fix for after the jam - but both downloadables work for me and dont crash!

Submitted(+1)

Not crashing, but game runs at at 10fps on my pc D:
Also found out i can stack towers on top of each other near the start of map1 (i think i couldn't in other places)
Also really nice graphics especially the menu screen!

Developer

Yeah i managed to get the systems in place and focused too long on art to get the gameloop ready. Damn! ;) Allways misscalculating the time for the game itself haha.
