How does the game fit the theme?
A trippy pixel-art survival where your journey lasts only as long as you endure — go too deep into the trip or stack too many upgrades, and you risk collapse or chaotic stats.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was made from scratch during the jam, except for the sound effects (music is new!), which I recycled from a previous game I made.

Great visuals, awesome work with the minimap, fog of war, picks, sounds, little animations, having a tutorial at the start, music, everything! Amazing work, well done!

Very unique and refreshing! The music and art builds this amazing atmosphere which works with the theme you're going for. Gameplay is a bit slow but I liked that it made me re-evaluate how much risk I could take. I think I found a bug, though. On my 3rd playthrough, I couldn't find any core emotions even after clearing out most of the forest! Regardless, the game is incredible!

Incredible game ! Stunning visuals, well balanced gameplay and difficulty, really good work, congratulations ! :)

Really cool visuals and a neat idea!  It would be nice if the effects lasted longer, but there were less of them, since it was disruptive to keep stopping to read the effects.

Nice art! I enjoyed it

The art and atmosphere of this game are absolutely outstanding. The visuals and controls feel great, too. The only downside is that the game is a bit difficult.

Sometimes I thought I was dizzy LOL But the art is really cool, congrats

Insanely cool visuals and a fun game to boot. I could not stop playing!

Developer

Thaaanks! "I could not stop playing!" the best note you can get as a game designer :D

I really liked how this game looked! It felt really polished and I liked that there was even a minimap. The music was also very fitting!

I was kinda confused about having to press enter to select UI buttons and upgrades rather than E/Space like with the mushrooms and ego. But once I got going and managed to stack various speed effects it felt really cool. Almost wish the effects lasted a little longer though so you could stack them even more!

Developer

Thank you! I was trying to make confirm action with E/Space but couldn't resolve it with UI toolkit in Unity :(

Feels and looks really nice - I think the gameplay could have used a bit more to engage with. The upgrades were a bit complicated to read and understand right away.

Developer

Thanks for the review and time! Agree, felt this too,  after a while I felt like there's no much difference between them :D

This felt surprisingly polished.

Really cool effects! Great vibes.

How is this game SO GOD DAMN POLISHED? like the subtle effects of the eye following you, the wavy texture on pickup screen

Usually those things don't make it into game jam games, because there are more important things to do, like I don't know - making sure it runs at all :D

Loved the artstyle, loved the concept and the audio.

Only criticism I have is - the powerups could be more unique and flashy. Seems like most of them modify the same few stats.

Developer

The answer is definitely not in the healthy way. I barely slept -  few hours a day to make it this polished. Still recovering.
Thanks for playing and 100% agree about powerups!

A bit too challenging for me but it's pretty cool and I love the visual/music <3

Developer

hah ok! it's always a trap when you playing you own game to much and loos the perception with balancing

Wow the visual and the bgm are sooooo cool@@@!!!
And the gameplay is so well fits with this amazing visual!!!

Truly love this graphics the most!!

Developer

Thank you!! I Would love to spent more time on them, feel like color palette can be improved

This game feels already very polished and fits well together! All the visual and animations look smooth and cool.

I totally missed that you can interact with the mushrooms, so missing out on that mechanic at first.

So far the best game I rated this event

Developer

Thanks! I've been wondering if I need to include mushrooms in the tutorial to but on the other hand I hope you enjoyed this discovery!
