Better to start making some biscuits. Cute chill gamee
We would love you to try our game, and we would appreciate your ratings 🙌
Great game! Art is really cute and gameplay mechanics are robust.
the mechanics are something I really tried to make feel intuitive <3
Great game! Very chill and peacefull. I like to make the cats works. Again. And again...
Fun and cute little game.
LOVE THE ART!!! The game has major bug sadly and cant have them bake!
click on the cat, then the biscuits, then the arrow pointing to the oven :( it does work I promise
I have fixed that bug. it would mean SO much if you could re-rate our game <3 we worked so hard on it
This is a very very very cute game!!! The art is so adorable!! Encounter bugs where after the cookies are done kneading and you move the kneading table, the cookies sometimes can't be selected. But overall, you guys did an amazing job!
ooooh thats a sticky one, sorry! Ahahah
Glad you enjoyed the game though :)
Nibbles uses Kagebunshin technique! Very effective! We might have to pass labour laws for cat workers in the future. I worked Nibbles to the bone (Sorry!)
The visuals are just ( ´ ꒳ ` ) ♡
Nibbles is so cute! I feel bad having to sit back while the Nibbleses do all the work.
Gameplay was (・_・;)
Maybe Nibbles can have a tiny thought bubble to indicate what task she's doing when she's idle. Different Nibbles could also have different coloured bibs to differentiate them.
I played full 10 minutes before I learned I had to sell the cookies in the shop menu. I was trying to get my cookie output to 100 / min thinking that was the goal ( : ౦ ‸ ౦ : )
I am super impressed! This is enjoyable and well-polished for a game developed in just a week. Kudos to you both!
Psst.. I don't mind house-sitting again if I get to play with Nibbles (´。• ω •。`) ♡
thanks for the feeback pang! Yeah different colored bibs / different cat designs was racing through my head the whole time I was making the game
Because I drew every sprite individually, the only way I could think of making different colours was redrawing every single frame of animation (yikes) or using a colour LUT with a shader, which I did try at one point but it looked pretty meh.
Sorry there was no obvious sign pointing you to the shop window! Ahaha also when you highlight each cat there is a little icon telling you their current task :3
We made a lot of choice to try to keep it a little hectic, some one recommended while testing it to have a little area that tells you what each of the cats are doing all the time but that felt to much like running a factory. We wanted to keep it as free for the cats as possible (hence the dilemma, more information for the play vs make the game feel like the cats are happy)
That being said the thought bubble was a plan I had from the very beginning but I didnt implement woooooops
These game jams are amazing in motivating people to finish a project, polished or not, in such a short time. But the time limit is a double-edged sword, because you need to scrap ideas/features to prioritise developing a playable game.
If only Brackeys host a Throwback Game Jam so developers are incentivised to continue polishing their games and presenting it again.
Wait. That's not a bad idea, actually!

Stunning art. Gameplay is ok once you get the flow right, wasn't obvious how to operate the machines and the cookies at the beginning I had to read through the comments. Some minor glitches here and there but brilliant work
I have fixed it so you can click on cat then biscuits then oven now. it would mean SO much if you could re-rate our game <3 we worked so hard on it
Um… this game is so cute I can barely take it! The little kitty kneading the dough animation is everything 🐱💖 Such a lovely, charming, and just overall cozy game. Great voice acting too!
I did run into a bit of trouble when assigning tasks to the cat... if I clicked an arrow that wasn’t actually something the cat could do yet, nothing happened. It didn’t give feedback on what I was doing wrong or how to correct it. Not a big deal though, I just wanted to share my experience.
All of the animations were so delightful, and it was a real pleasure to play your sweet game. Thank you for sharing it!
thank you for the lovely comments!
Yeah I wish I had more time to refine the assignment system. All the recipes are available in the little popout menu on the left <3
Games look so cute and adorable, I wish to play it but I can't seem to put the biscuits in the ovens :< (I did check the manual) so cannot proceed, maybe there is a bug somewhere
click on the cat then on the biscuits then on the green arrow pointing to the oven
I have fixed that bug. it would mean SO much if you could re-rate our game <3 we worked so hard on it
Excellent visuals and audio. Cute artwork and innovative idea. I enjoyed your game!
Love the isometric design! Great work! <3
Very cute game, the idea of a Cat Bakery where they all make biscuits is adorable. I liked your opening cutscene too, it's always cool to see voice acting & story in a Jam Project. The art is very charming and I had fun watching my little Cat workers moving biscuits around, eating or taking naps :)
I wish the game was a little bit more responsive. I had a hard time learning the flow of it and had to read these comments to get an understanding. I also wish it fit the theme better, it's nice that it's the backdrop for the story, but mechanically it doesn't seem to have any risk.
I'm glad y'all were inspired to make this! I enjoyed my time with it.
that's so lovely thank you!
Yeah we got really into the idea of it being cozy and fun. We wanted to avoid it being stressful to stay with the vibe. But overlooked the mechanical aspect of 'risk'
Loved the visuals, super cute game!
Beautiful, charming art direction. I found the cat a little slow, which sometimes breaks the flow—maybe add a 2×/3× toggle or double-click sprint? If that’s already implemented, it might have slipped past me.
more cats = faster biscuits because more cats
yes my mistake, i meant for a first cat , until we get the others :D
This is the most adorable beautiful game I've seen so far from this jam but I can't put any cookie trail in the oven. Do you just need to click on them, then on the oven?
click on the cat, the the uncooked biscuits, then the green arrow pointing at the oven
Okay ! Thank you very much. I was a bit confused as it says the oven doesnt need a cat but.. yep pretty obvious to ask the cat to put the thing in the thing. This is my favorite game so far, so cute, so cozy, I'd love a whole game based on that concept <3. The design is so darn cute, I love the animations, this is amazing and so fun.
thank you so much! we really needed to get a proper interactive tutorial done to sell the game fully to the player I think but there's alway so much to do ahahahah
It's endless ahah
This game is so cute! I really enjoy playing it.
So freaking cute, I absolutely love it, the artstyle is so sweet. I found the way to manage the kitties a bit difficult at first but the result is great. The most adorable game I've ever played
the tutorial windows that appear explain that the cat doesnt have to man the oven.
Click on the cat, then click the uncooked tray of biscuits then the green arrow pointing to the oven.
The cat needs to take the biscuits to the oven.
(I put so much work into the tutorial screens to make them easy to read and be intuitive please read them fully)
I skipped the game without reading the description quickly. My fault, sorry, I'm fine now. The cat is carrying the trays to the oven right now.
YAY thank you for giving it a shot
Sorry I didnt have time to make a more interactive tutorial, I think that's what it needed reallly
