How does the game fit the theme?
It's a simple and short 2D platformer game. In each of the 3 levels you'll experience a simple yet unusual mechanic. Try to overcome all risks/obstacles and get a cookie at the end !

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some free assets:

This is clearly a well-crafted project, congrats!

Really cool idea, level design, and physics. One thing would be to add sound effect for jump at least, but still really nice simple platformer. Reminds me of web platformers xd.

Good luck

Well done on this first game, the mechanics for each level are interesting, my favorite is the second level!

This game is quite interesting, because i love the concept, the gameplay is so interesting, the story is amazing, yet i feel sad that its so short i want it to be longer. I would love to see this expanded and polished! A couple suggestions:

  • Make longer
  • The cacao rolling is inconsistent at times (maybe delta time is the cause)
  • The text is a bit blurry

Great job!

Congratulations! You're in the jam world, now! :D

Can't wait to see what you make in future <3

I am never throwing my cookies into the garbage ever again.

That was really cute little experience. I think I like the twist on the dough movement the most. Usually jumping hinders your ability to move your characters, it's a fun twist to have it be completely uncontrollable while on ground and getting all of the control in the air. It does really need some sounds or at least a soundtrack.

A bit short but very impressive for your first game jam after learning godot for a month

Loooooved the idea def 5/5 on theme, the gameplay is quite interesting but it’s too interesting to be this short, loved the little next level button for stuck fellas, this REALLY needed sounds tho, goodjob overall especially for a solo run as a new jammer!

Yoo it's so awesome that you did all this on your own for a first game jam! Especially that you've only recently started on godot that's awesome!

It's really cool that you had a variation of "states" the biscuit was in and how you followed its evolution from cacao seed to biscuit! And also more than its symbolic uniqueness, it is also super impressive in technicality because you made 3 different game mechanics which was really fun and interesting compared to a single one!

Enjoyed the moral of the story a lot!

Thank you for your hard work!

Great first jam! Last level was definitely the most challenging. Really enjoyed the variety of mechanics.

I loved the narratives and the cool mechanics! Great game, especially for your first jam! Keep it going!

Have beaten all 3 levels. Could be great if there were more, but good job regardless.

really cool game ! i love the first one but it difficult to pass the third  ramp

Using 3 separate movement mechanics was super creative, and creating the biscuit from scratch was a really cool idea!

You literally made 3 different games!! This was awesome.

Nice one. Three different styles of playe movement really makes this game stick out in a positive way, congrats!

Keep up the good work!

I like how you added a story into game, it's also nice how you implemented different mechanics per level. It would be nice ot have more levels with each of the mechanics. The linerider part of the game was what drew me in, would've loved to see more levels like that!

The ending was really funny, clever choice to make a skip level button. I liked the message at the end about wasting things!
