Absolutely terrifying. I am horrible with horror games but I gave this my best shot and I almost made a full biscuit before I saw the monster and was too scared to continue. Really good job making such an unsettling experience in so short a time

How does the game fit the theme?
The further you go the better ingredients you can collect to create your marvellous biscuit! But the further you move, the closer you may be to BiscuitFace.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Well, your game is really well programmed, the visuals and sounds are cool and the idea as well. But unfortunately I couldn't complete it, I think the level design could be better, many rooms looks the same, so constantly I couldn't get back to the main room, it's difficult even to die, tbh, I played a run in which I opened dozens of cabinets without ingredients, and I coudn't find the monster. But other than that the game has potential, you only need to improve level design. Congrats for your game.
Good work the controls are smooth and the objective is clear. Right now it has a few bugs . One was I clipped to the roof of the map some how another tip is I got jump scared a few times but each time I was holding an item so it was basically just the sound. Anyways the vibes are awesome and the atmosphere is tense.
This game was great! Maybe I'm just bad at directions, but I got so lost after I left the original room to try to find some more ingredients. The music really set the tone and the monster was well-designed.
I really love horror games (as long as I'm not the one playing it) so I do have a few tips based on my experiences. Sound cues go a really long way. This would just be to help make it easier for the player to tell when the monster is nearby, instead of just turning the corner and it suddenly being there. The sound cue doesn't have to be obvious, but definitely there. Even just footsteps do the trick. Also, I think the map would benefit a lot from being smaller. Not only does it make it harder for the player to get lost, but it also adds to the fear of being cooped up with a monster. Although, if you were to do that, you'd probably have to add sprinting and hiding spots as well.
Otherwise, this game was pretty great! Good job!
Thank you for playing! This is really great advice for future development! As the sound designer, I had created sounds for the monsters footsteps, but they weren’t being implemented properly, and we ran out of time to test it well enough, so I just decided to remove them. Such is the way of the jam. 🤷♂️
Nice horror game with good atmospheric music!
I did get stuck once in the air when walking up a door kicked in by biscuitface and sometimes I couldn’t drop the sugar in the oven after picking it up :D
It would also be cool to have a one-time ability or item to hit biscuitface for a short stun just to feel a bit safer. :)
Love the dark horror elements of the game. I was really scared trying to run away from the monster which was designed really well in my opinion. The assets were well put together and I think this fits the theme pretty well. Overall the game stands out as not a lot of games i have seen are horror. so its really fun to see this as one of the submissions. really a great game! :)
I full on jumped out of my seat when I turned and the monster was right next to me and my friend laughed at me, that scared the hell out of me!
Good job...
Your monster is so cool. Good work!
(Not sure if bug or intentional, but I didn't seem to have full control over my character. Moving on its own. )
Ok, horrors are definitely not my genre, I played only once until the neighbor appeared and just could not talk myself into going for another run:)
But after all, the game works, and it works very well, I was really scared...
It definitely is!

Yeah you are a true master of horror vibe.
I didnt read the description before as imo the games should be teaching the rules themselves.
As fast as i realise that is a horror game, my idea was to find that jumpscare moment as fast as possible, and it happens when I thought that its not spawned yet.
I struggle with understanding the goal of the game, baking the cookies to beat the monster and escape (i guess) is a bit counterintuitive :D
I do not get engaged, but perhaps its because I am not a fan of a stricte horror games ( by stricte I mean i love games like Dying Light or AvP etc, but the horror part of this games is only an additional thing enhancing the serious problem, rather than a main theme).
But I guess people who loves the horror games, will be engaged as hell as everything in this game is on very good quality level. GJ!
My gameplay
Really cool usage of the theme, love that. What I would mainly give as feedback is some general polish could have elevated the game a lot, such as that it's very easy to get lost in the hallways/rooms, as there's not anything to use to like know where you are. Other than that, BiscuitFace scared the crap out of me once, so I'd say the horror element is very well done, great stuff!
I love the idea of cooking while searching for food in a haunted place, especially with the biscuit monster and the jumpscare when I opened a door and he was standing right behind it! (Good AI) That’s a great idea, I really like it! And I love horror! +1 rating!
Don’t hesitate to rate my game too ;)
Thanks for playing!
Yeah that bug was a result of the gravity, in some runs the gravity functions fine, but there's a high chance it will simply fail and leave you floating. We originally had jumping and moving up on counters to reach higher objects but had to cut that due to the gravity in the last hour of development. Very glad you enjoyed!
Super fun game! The Monster has a super cool design and I was thoroughly surprised through out if I could change one thing I think it would be nice if it were easier to navigate. I like how claustrophobic the hallways are but it makes it really easy to just go in circles, maybe if you added unique objects or pieces of artwork in some more notable halls? There probably wasn't time during the Jam but either was cool game I hope to see more! <3
Thank you and yes! We wanted to make the navigation easier but ran out of time, we ended up putting 3 painting through out the map and changing lighting colors in different sections in order to help. But it's definitely still dificult haha!
One of the paintings was put in the safe zone (Kitchen) so you won't just walk by it. We did add two paintings to the hallways, they're definitely scarce though.
Thank you for playing, we have a ton of ideas to improve the game, very glad you like it <3
Hey, I am having issues loading the WebGL version. The loading screen gets stuck forever. If that gets fixed I will play, seems like a fun game! Maybe try releasing an alternate downloadable build if the WebGL version doesn't work?
Edit: Now that the game works, pretty fun! It's nice to see something 3d in a game jam, that's rare, and the horror element legitimately got me a little bit. Great job!
Very spooky! I ended up finding a couple of ingredients, and hid inside the cozy kitchen, because the monster were just outside. Ended up getting eaten, but very thrilling game!
Would you like to try my game as well? :)
