How does the game fit the theme?
We interpreted 'risk it for the biscuit' as the idiom. You are given choices throughout the game, one is a gamble and one is safe. Do you risk it?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some assets taken and edited: UI assets, slash effect, SFX, music.

Really nice art style and great game!
The combat mechanics are very fun, and I could see myself playing a longer game like this.
It would have been nice to see more background changes to align with the descriptions of each area, but it's understandable that it wasn't done due to the time constraint.
Super cute drawings! Would be good to have some feedback on the buttons and also in tutorial could show which one to click!
I really like how you interpreted the theme! at each stop I was really considering wether or not to risk it. the combat system feels a little bit clunky, but overall it's very polished, especially for a jam game. Also I really like the art, especially for the mouse. Great job!
Thank you for the feedback, we will work on it in the future! Glad you enjoyed it :))
Adored the art style and the characters. And the knight reciting a tutorial while dying was hilarious. The victory screen pose was also super cute :D
I only had one issue, where the result of a choice's dialog would overlap the actual dialog below, so i couldn't read what the NPC-s were saying in response.
Thanks for the feedback!
For the item and dice screen you can click the top right buttons to toggle it off after they appear. But I definitely agree it was a bit unclear. I think we should've made it a close button or right click closes it first instead of advancing dialogue at the same time.
very cute drawing! I also like that there are a lot of choices in the game!
Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed our game :)
Wow really well done, I enjoyed the visuals and the music of this game and love the dice mechanic.
Thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed the game :)
Hey, nice game!
Haha, I got a dice with 3 faces of 10 and then a lot of negatives, so I picked it to flip a random face and of course it was a 10 that was chosen and then picked the die again to erase a face and of course another 10 was chosen, so it became a pretty useless dice, lol.
Other then that I think some of the enemies had a bit too much life, I would like some fast random battles, a FTL-inspired pick your next event location approach could also work for this game.
Thanks for playing! Sounds like you hit every low roll event we put in 😂. We definitely agree, putting in more random battles, kinda like slay the spire would make it more interesting.
Hi, I like this game. Stuck on this, maybe because pawn got me -1 attack. I like mechanics and visual, remind me "https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/124708/mice-and-mystics". Good job!
Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! Yes I haven't played that board game yet but it's actually on my wishlist!
Loved the visuals, the gameplay and the sounds! Enjoyed getting passives and getting stronger, maybe the early is just a bit too slow with one dice, it also reminded me of some parts of Slay the Spire and Balatro that I really like, overall a really nice game, good job!
Thanks for playing! Yeah one dice definitely makes the game a bit slow to start and limits options. We'll improve on that in the future.
Cool game, the turn based mechanic reminds me of the mobile game of Jurassic World, but seems more complex and luck based, I do love the art, and the interactions with other animals!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed playing.
Nice game felt very complete, the artwork is beautiful, and the sound track fit very nicely. The only thing I felt was missing was some feedback when pressing the buttons as in the first fight I was very confused that I couldn't just spam attack, but maybe this would of been explained if I actually read the text :)
Thanks for playing! Yes I agree we should definitely add more feedback and effects and especially make the tutorial clearer. We ran out of time for the jam but might look into updating this later!
It was way to much text for me but maybe its just not my preffered genre. The visuals and sounds are great. Tipp: make the game run in fullscreen so its easier to see the full screen.
Thanks for the feedback! Yep we forgot to tick the fullscreen option on the page but we just enabled it now. Thanks for letting us know.
