loved your style

I really like the aesthetic, especially the tutorial menu was cool. The controls and gameplay were a bit janky but I like the idea behind the shooting mechanic, nice work!

Thank you so much! If only everything wasnt twice as fast as it should be 😭

I really like the artwork and colour palette! Also, I find the concept of guiding your bullet fun. I found the player a bit hard to control due to the speed. But I had fun zooming around and slashing bad guys.

P.S. The fact that the thumbnail's motto casually is "Kill People!" made me chuckle xd

Thank you so much! I swear its not supposed to be that fast, its a bug that only happened on every computer except for the mine so we didnt catch it 😅. Though its kinda fun in its own way I guess.

It was so awesome sauce

I like the limited color palette, fit the western vibe nicely. I was playing on a trackpad so the bullet guiding was a little hard, but I managed lol

Developer

Thanks! How you pulled that off, I might never understand.

Visuals are good, gameplay is smooth. Player is too fast for the camera zoom, almost impossible to control.

Developer(+1)

Thanks alot! Thats a bug, its not supposed to be that fast. Its crazy fast on every device I tried it on except my own pc, so we didnt catch the bug in time.

From what I know it most likely is an issue witth FPS. Physics mostly rely on frames, the more FPS you have the faster the physics will be, and vice versa. Maybe try locking FPS to a certain amount like 60 (I dunno how to do that on Godot though, I never used it). Hope this helps, and keep up the good work!

Developer

I used delta time so that this wouldn’t happen, and by my limited understanding I think I used it correctly. So I dont think thats the issue. Our artist upscaled all the art by 10x for reasons that even he doesnt know, so I had to speed everything up by alot and maybe somehow godot downscaled them when exporting but kept the insanely high speeds? Im just guessing though. Thanks for the input!

looked really nice but for some reason everything was crazzzzzzy fast, is it supposed to be like that? good job thought

Developer(+1)

Thank you and no! Its not supposed to be so fast. I couldnt reproduce on my machine, so I didnt notice the bug until just a couple hours ago 😅.

I liked how sassy the game is. The jump and dash is kind of crazy

Developer
