I was so prepared to poop down a chimney, but turns out that is not the kind of hate Santa was experiencing.

Fun little stealth platformer, with a very cute pixel art style. Good work making this little game :)

Nice game! Harder than it looks!

Challenging game for sure. The controls could use some more work, but you had an interesting mechanics with the present box and different scenarios to use it.

I really enjoyed this! Simple but well done, I really liked the art too. Only thing it was missing was some good audio to go with it. Great job :)

The platforming felt fun and challenging, and the presents mechanic added a neat twist. I do wish there was more art and music to bring the atmosphere alive, plus some extra juice like sound effects or screen shake to give jumps and collisions more impact. Still, it’s a solid entry and definitely has that classic web-game charm. Good work!

Nice game, wish there was more art and music and some of that good ol'gamefeel adding some FX and oomph to the game. Definitely a solid entry with fun platforming challenges!

i really enjoyed playing it so much, good game

The idea for the theme was funny to play bad santa and stealing the kids their candy! The house felt very big and empty while the characters were kept too small. There was no SFX or music, which make it a very dull experience.

The gameplay mechanics worked well and movement felt good. I was not able to jump off a ladder and needed to climb it all down like a regular guy, missed that.

The game is fun to play but there are times when the enemy suddenly runs very fast and we can't avoid it.

I like it but when you get to the bottom of the house, when rope breaks and santa says he feels slower, I just can't figure out how to clear second part, where platforms are not all on same Y axis, I used presents but then i can't make the last jump. Maybe I'm just bad idk, I was trying for like 5-10 min I think

Besides that it's fun and challenging, I like that

Also good job on art and everything, since i see only you worked on this game and didn't use any assets, good job, and good luck in game jam

Thank you for playing! The platforms were delibrately made on different Y axis to mess up the players momentum, its been playtested and its passable!

Oh my bad, sorry, it is nice game though, reminds me of older web games which is really cool

Developer(+1)

Dont be!! I was going for older web games vibes, glad you picked it up!!

You nailed that part imo, well done

I wish there wear sounds, also game is hard but maybe I am just not good at platformers. The art is cool!

The art style was inconsistent, but I thought the gameplay was alright. The presents were a good enough mechanic to make it stand out from other platformers but I still didn't feel like it fit the theme that much. Very hard, but not unfair!

Fun game, but really challenging! Some sounds would really enhance the experience.
