Everything was mad from scratch except a few sound effect I downloaded from zapsplat and I made the music with FL Studio.

This is a nice one for sure! I am quite surprised that you interpreted the theme to be a stealth game, and I'd say that makes me happy. Not every game should be a gamble game, you know. Anyway, for a 2D horizontal stealth game, this is not bad at all, with all of the stealth game staples such as cupboard and stone, there is also the double jump too! The gameplay feels much dynamic than your typical hide and move type games. Well done! I would really want to finish your game, but got softlocked on a room I've accidentally backtracked, and was locked in a perpetual "You've been detected" page :( Sad.

So from a limited playthrough, I think the main criticism I can think of is that the wall climb is a but hard to pull off, and some jumps are pretty precise given how the controls currently are. But other than that, this is quite a nice entry! Good job and keep up the good work!

Thank you for the feedback and playing!!

I am a sucker for stealth games. So this is definitely my favorite one of the ones I've tested so far (which is 30 games). Please keep making these great games! The art and sounds were phenomenal.

Thank you!!!!

I really liked the pixel art.

I accidentality went left on the second screen and fell out of the world.

I restarted the game and got stuck again. image.png

I soft-locked a third time when I accidentality went back a room and the guard sees me instantly.

Well, I found the falling out of the world bug yesterday. But that on the picture really should not happen :| because there are colliders that check for this, but it seems they are to small. Thank you for playing eventhough it's a bit buggy :D

I really like the moments where you jump on the chandeliers! The chainlink sounds did get a little grating though.

I found a second use for the rocks: to push the guards into a corner of the room - made things go a lot quicker in certain sections 😂

I found a bug where I got stuck in the roof in the platforming section with all the chains you can climb up and down on. Jumping from the top of one of those chains got the character completely stuck and I had to restart.

Other than that, great work!

Thank you for feedback and creativity of playing!

Cool idea, but the NPCs didn't seem very smart to me. I'd like the player to be caught instead of losing right away

Developer

Yes, they could be smarter :D, thanks for playing!

Loved The Gameplay..The Art Style Was Amazing Aswell..I Did Face Few Bugs Like Constant Resetting As soon As I Teleported Back..But Other than That, EveryThing Else Was Truly Awesome!!

Thank you for playing!

I like the idea of a stealth platformer in video games. If this was a lot more polished in terms of physics and logic, this would've been great experience. The story seems compelling and was curious what it would be if it was more fleshed out.

Overall, it's a good game. Nice work.

Developer

Thank you for playing! And yes the physics could be a lot better and the logic, well, let's just say that my first tester of the game was 1 hour after the end of submissions :D

I love the cute pixel art and animations! I got to the kitchen(?) part where there's a duck painting and I didn't know where to go after that... I went back to the previous room but I don't think there's a door i could reach. Other than that I really enjoyed the smooth movement and swinging on the chandeliers is great!

Very cool game! I was surprised at how detailed things were, player and guard animations are great and the footsteps feel very satisfying, chandeliers making sounds and having rope physics feels very nice, jumping feels good once you get the hang of it but it isn't explained very well that you can jump and double jump so I recommend putting that in the itch page , sadly due to the saving system I have been softlocked and am unable to progress and I'm in an endless loop of resetting because I instantly get caught in one room without time to do anything, would be nice to have a button to go back to the very start of the game. Very impressive work on the map and game feel though! Excellent work!

Thank you for finding the bug and I'm glad you liked the game to that point! And I will add double jump info in the description, thank you for feedback and playing!
