How does the game fit the theme?
Moon Pond is all about taking calculated risks.
You're constantly deciding whether to dive deeper for rare fish, or play it safe. Dark cards hide rewards but cost energy to reveal, is it worth it? Obstacles can end your run, but treasures refill your air. Every choice asks: "Is this risk worth the reward?" The deeper you go, you may find a cooler fish and complete the catalog, but the higher the chance of failure.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Only the background music, which were created by Kevin MacLeod and are referenced in the credits.

Really great art style and atmosphere! Amazing work for the theme 🤘
I only wish for the exact events to be more explained in game rather than in the text below but that makes sense for such short time =]
The art style is brutal, love it! It mixes so well with the music. The risk it for the biscuit factor is real, you die or you live. This would be an awesome 3D game! The only thing that made me tick is the vowing of interracial in the menu, you need to be almost pixel perfect in order for you to switch from catalog to letter, etc. But non the less, really polished game, good job T4PStudios.
I loved how you used the concept of taking risks, and the artwork is amazing, very well done.
I liked risk/reward nature of the game, especially card that you have to pay to reveal what's behind it. Haven't finished it though, didn't feel incentivised enough to want to collect all the fish.
This is so beautiful, Its almost unfair that I can't buy a full version that has been crafted over 4 years and released on steam or the switch.
It is crazy you made this in a week, Solid amazing work
Game was fun and very unique. Audio was chill and relaxing.
With a bit more animation for the hub and a few extra visuals for the gameplay part this could be impressively addictive. It was a nice experience.
Very unique game! There's so much content it feels finished, especially with the catalog of fishes to find. The visuals are spectacular, I love the design of the fisherman, I'd love to see the UI in a more advanced state of polish. The game is really unique, I don't think I've seen anything similar so far. Well done! I'll keep an eye out for this one, if you guys ever decide to continue it C:
Very well polished and enjoyable game! The concept of risk was masterfully implemented here. I'll definitely try to descend even deeper later.
Keep up the good work!
There is so much content in this game made in such a short time span, really inspiring stuff, love the take on the theme and the execution was impressive, well done!
It was a beatiful game, loved the ambiance of the first scene. My only suggestion would be to improve the UI of the game, because some icons are too complicated to be icons ( it's hard to read their meaning), and some areas have to little detail. Great work.
Really enjoyed the notion of each tile providing a different option, especially as they increased the cost going down knowing you had to go back up.
Really great visuals too! I think the grid suffered a little bit because it was plain in respect to everything else. Only jumped out given the clear effort on the other parts, I liked balancing my choices as I descend. Nice job!
Art and music are great and I loved the loading screen ;-)
nice puzzle game.
Wow the art and music is great! Creates a really unique atmosphere. Great job guys!
Would you like to try my game as well? :)
Wonderful art style. Gameplay at times can be a little drab just because its effectively a point and click game and those just aren't too my taste, nothing against ya'll. It seemed strange there was different keybinds for each station you went to, instead of just having an interact keybind that was activatable based on some collision range. Overall fun little game, really enjoyed what ya'll put together
