Definitely a fun and interesting take on mini golf! The number of stages you've managed to make is impressive too.

Nice mini golf game! I just feel that controls are not that easy to get. Besides that it's cool, I like the levels a lot!
The game is awesome, its fun and feels very polished, but its hard as hell!!!! i dont know if i have issues with golf games, but i got so hard stuck on level 2 i had to quit, that wall is unpassable, i spent more than 70 stokes before i gave up. took me a while to figure out i could spin the ball, and still i couldnt pass it once. Im actually shoked im this bad as i saw no one mention struggling on it, i actually wanna know how was i meant to do it!
Congrats on publishing such a good game, sorry i couldnt beat that level to experience it more!
So much work and so well done for the time given during the Jam.
I believe you have something here quite fun that would work very well on switch, you can add different balls with special powers or make the level dinamic (portal, inverted controls, different surfaces).
Honestly pretty cool golf game! Main points of feedback I'd give is a little more polish to the main mechanic, because in my opinion doing a close range shot is very difficult, and I also got stuck against a wall a couple times. Other than that I did really enjoy the main gameplay and music! Good job!
This was really fun to play and the vibes are great! Im impressed by the many stages you were able to build.
the little gameplay details like adding spin to the ball and the score showing in the end made it feel really complete and a lot more fun. Great job!
This was neat! It didnt actually dawn on me the implications of a lack of a putter until I got right next to the hole on the first level. kind of an "oh shit" moment lol. I liked the aesthetic a lot and I personally didn't have trouble with the first level like some other people were saying. I was kind of sad when it suddenly ended! Good work :)
The music is fire, the aesthetic is cute, the game itself is pretty flawless it’s a golf game of all time. My main problem is that there is no pause/setting menu to adjust controls , sound, or even quit the game lol. also while it’s understandable in a jam game, maybe postjam you can add something like a tutorial level to actually make the player understand the controls. Overall goodjob! (wrote this with the music running in the background)
Yeah we plan to expand on this post jam. I have a setting system built from an old game but with everything else just ran out of time to import and clean it up to adapt it to this one, that's why I threw in the quick and dirty mute button on the start screen. Also funnily enough we HAD a quit button, but pressing it on the browser version crashes the whole window, knowing more people will browser play it we just yoinked it out to avoid that problem. Figured if people downloaded it they can just alt-f4. Not the most elegant solution but quick and dirty is the game jam way. I agree with all your feedback and appreciate it, happy to hear you enjoyed it!
This is the first golf game that I've played so I might be a bit off for the following assessment. I have a suggestion for user experience, which is for a quick way to reset the level, a settings menu to adjust the mouse sensitivity for camera movement, & for the scroll wheel angle to stay between shots as oppose to resetting to the lowest angle. I like the visuals and the choice of music for the vibe as well! The Ocean & Island in the distance is pretty! Overall I like the game!
Nice job! Not my type of game typically but I had fun with this. I was surprised it ended when it did and wished there was more! Agree with others that the first level seems to be the hardest, and for my money I think the bar could be just like 1-2% slower and feel better. It’s also really hard to know what spin will actually do I think, would be nice to have some guidance from the arc… But for biggest complaint by far to be I wish there was more content? Awesome work :)
Somehow level 1 is the one that has been the most complicated for me but I love how the jam theme is implemented in the last and second to last level, taking risks to take those skips is an idea that I love, I did the second to last in two shots with the skip and the last in 5 going from the beginning to the floating platform, then to the hole platform and once there throwing, the only thing that saddens me is that there are not more levels, very good level design I have to say. Congratulations
I've struggled too much on the first level, but overall is a good minigolf agme.
A cute golf game, but I struggled with the very first level, taking 30 strokes to complete it :) Good luck!
Legitimately forgot this was a game jam game, super polished and really fun level design. Really enjoyed the visuals as well. I had not realised I was such a fan of golf games, but apparently I love them. It was maybe a little too forgiving with the swing being pretty easy to achieve exactly as aimed, and the holes having substantial ramps into them with a relatively low ball friction. But I could have just been really good at it, who knows? I really liked how there are riskier paths, but would have liked to see more of those per level and with different difficulties (a really, really small island or whatever). But that's the kind of nitpick that stems from enjoying it so much and wanting more. Honestly would play more levels with weird and wacky level-specific mechanics if you expanded it post-jam.
Fun game. I think this game has an unique idea for a golf game, you choosing how to arc your shots, is pretty cool. but I also think it could use about the same features of being able to shoot straight and having a bit more bounciness while hitting the walls... because it feels wrong hitting the wall at fullspeed and stopping suddenly without bouncing backwards. Also, the second camera is not that good... it needs more fine tuning, as it kinda does not help that much, only helped me in the volcano level.
Overall, pretty good game, with some more polish, can make a great golf game.
Lots of fun. I really liked the simple art style for the levels while also being thought-out and providing short cuts to get lower strokes.
