It was a bit difficult to jump over obstacles and I took so much time in the maze, but eventually I found the exit. The music was charming and I liked the plot, well done!

Thankyou, for commenting and Rating, it means a lot :D

Played the game, with all those visual effects it was quite a trip for the biscuit:)

Generally, the game feels good and brings calm, especially when the racoon finally getting his biscuits he has being dreaming of.

Here are my few cents:

  • As this is a downloadable game, there should be at least some way to close the game before it’s ending without killing the application via a task manager or from the task bar by opening it’s context menu. Some people may just don’t know how to kill the app and may be highly frustrated.

  • Platforming is not always easy, I guess you have to adjust the colliders and maybe add some mass / damp to the box so they don’t move that easily. Also there are chance you move the box to the wrong wall and will not be able to pass the starting puzzle before going to ventilation.

-Going through the ventilation took me a lot of time and that was not the super pleasant journey, mostly because of strange bright light effect when you are facing the wall. I think this section may be shorter, and instead of spending player time on the labyrinth some platforming section may be added to the bakery.

Thankyou will add these features in the future😊

The music was so good I kinda forgot I was playing a jam game. The graphics are also nice. Normally I hate seeing so many lighting effects all at once but the simple models and environments really make it work. The gameplay is also solid, even by non jam standards. The only problem is, there's just no risk involved and that was kind of the whole point of the theme. Sure, allegedly the raccoon is risking it all but honestly, I don't quite see it. Like, there's no enemies, no traps and no way to actually fail. And furthermore GODDAMIT I GOT RICKROLLED AGAIN!!!

Developer

Hahaha (Mission Accomplished :D) Glad i you thought of the game that way this comment made my day and I'm glad you enjoyed, i did originally mean to add a bunch of risks like cars trying to turn you into road kill and the baker trying to stop you but lets be honest i bit off more than i could chew this time around and even this basic Beta Game for the jam is the result of many sleepless nights XD but in the end i managed something somewhat playable. Thankyou for playing and commenting your experience :D

Can relate. I actually intended my game to have an inventory system and consumable items at one point. Man, those ideas got left on the cutting room  floor so hard I almost forgot I had them in the first place.

Developer

Haha, yeah....glad i could relate. Still Both of our games turned out pretty good and for me this game is a much more advanced than my other game. the only spot i messed up this time around were the player collisions and movement, otherwise in my previous jam game T-Minus Time, this is what i had made:

The intro is super super long lol. Each logo takes like 5 seconds and there a 3-5 logos and a few more instructions which players might think its too much since players usually just want to play the game as fast as possible. The fish eye lens do really make me sick especially while im in the maze. Sadly I can't finish the game tho cuz I'm stuck at the maze and felt too dizzy so I can't make my way out. I really like the low poly art style you used in those assets as they are really optimized but still looks decent. The graphics are very vibrant and colorful especially the trees, the buildings, the different props around the environment etc. Overall, its a pretty decent game and great job!

Developer(+1)

Thankyou :D, will fix the Logos problem after the jam XD

Awesome game, though the controls and movement are a bit difficult to get used to.

The first part you could add something to guide the player towards the back alley since I tried to get into the bakery then try to get into the car and it took me 5 minutes to go to the back alley

The back alley part where you use the boxes to get over the fence could be improved. The boxes are so easily pushed that I had a hard time getting on them. It would also help if you could pull the box backwards maybe by using the E key. Also I noticed the trash bags next to the dumpster don't have collision.

I don't like the vent maze part, it kinda gave me a bit of a headache after running in there for too long. I think adding a minimap would help players to navigate better

The lighting in some parts could be decreased. I got flashbanged after finishing the maze XD

Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Great job!

Thankyou for the feedback and rating XD, Ill be sure to try and fix these problem sin the future :D

Quite a short game with colors so bright it exorcises my inner vampire. The lighting effect for the maze part was also kinda weird I thought the game crashes for a bit - but turn out it's just the quirk of the lighting and material (I did get lost in the maze a bit)
Getting Rick was a surprise, I get it's Rick it for the Biscuit then

Developer

Haha, Thankyou, Glad you Enjoyed and Rated the game :D

Short and simple game, the maze part with the fish eye lens effect makes me dizzy for some reason (much like a racoon)
Quite a fun run, I liked it

Like fish-eye filter on camera, The maze in the end is a bit long.

Thankyou :D

Finished! Impressed with the music (i counted 3 tracks). Did you make all the models by yourself? If yes, that's really impressive with that timeframe. How did you do the lens effect? Also, I got rickrolled.

Developer(+1)

XD I'm glad you enjoyed it (and got rickrolled) and Rated and commented :D
Yes there are three tracks I made them from scratch and as for the ones I made all of them by myself in some web based sculpting and modeling apps I couldn't use blender (I'm on a laptop and As for I made all the models except for the raccoon which inspired the low poly cartoony style for the entire game early on in development) and As for the lens Warp effect it was a Reverse Inverted Fisheye Effect Mixed in With some Edge distortion and i added in a slight Vignette to make it feel and look cinematic :D
Thankyou for trying out and Rating my game, it Turley means a lot to me :D

Hey this is great! Love the visuals (probably the best looking 3d game I've played so far) and the music is surprisingly nice as well! The theme fits and is well implemented. Unfortunately it's struggling a bit to run on my laptop and I got a bit sick, will try it again once I have access to my pc again.

The startup with all the logos is hilariously slow, if it's some elaborate joke it's definitely very funny. If not they definitely have to be skippable haha.

The game looks super bright and juicy! But I think it could use a bit fewer effects, since the lens distortion and lens flare sometimes make it hard to look at the screen. A vent grate definitely shouldn’t be sending me into a blinding heavenly white light :)

Developer(+2)

Hahaha XD, I'm glad that you Rated and Shared your thoughts. Its great to see people enjoy playing something you've made. I do agree with the effects being too many and too difficult to look at but in my defense i  was just trying to replicate real Racoon Vison. Still i guess its one of the least favorited things in the game so far based off the comments and ill be sure to remove all the Warping FOV effects in the Future.
Thankyou :D

Love the style and visuals, only recommendation would be to maybe make the intro a little quicker

Thankyou for commenting and taking the time for Rating, will fix them in future.  :D

cool graphics, good music. A fun game, although short

Enjoyed some insanely good music, stole a bunch of cookies and got rickrolled 10/10

Good job! I really liked the visuals, the style and colors fit really well, and the camera being so low to the ground really made me feel like a racoon lol. I also think it's funny how the racoon just randomly has a flashlight during the maze. The intro was well-made, and I liked seeing the racoon eating the cookie at the end. Fun concept, great music, and even greater potential!

I did run into some problems though. When I started playing, I knew the general concept of stealing a cookie, but I didn't know where I was supposed to go, so I spent awhile looking around in the playground. On the first obstacle I managed to get stuck after accidentally pushing the boxes into the trash bags causing them to glitch and overlap. I wasn't able to find a way to restart so I had to close the game and reopen it. I also had problems with collision where there was either too much collision around an object, making it harder to move around (such as in the maze), or too little collision, allowing me to see inside certain objects. The camera made objects and buildings warp when too close, which was really immersive and cool, but made it harder to parkour since it was unclear where things really were. Lastly in the maze, the light would sometimes be really bright when looking at certain things, like your feet or the exit vent.

Even though I had issues, I still had a good time, and most of the problems I mentioned are minor and can be fixed with some reworking or small additions, so don't be discouraged! Still impressive for one week! I hope you can flesh it out and add more levels, puzzles, or even just more environments to explore as a racoon once the rating period is over :)

beautiful graphics, the mechanics are a bit stiff and the maze is a bit complicated

music was fire. the setting and colors were also really cool. some suggestions i would have is not to have the player get stuck when slightly grazing a wall, happened a lot in the vent level if you are not precise with the direction. also the texture for those tunnels should have some kind of variation because i couldn't always tell if i was moving or not. otherwise, still a really good job, keep it up

Developer

Thankyou so much, it means a lot to me :D will definitely make sure to return the favor😁

I really liked how the game looked and its pastel colors. I also really liked the music, especially the one that plays during the vents. Unfortunately the game was a bit laggy for me and player movement and camera speed was way too fast for precise movement that was needed in the first part.

Amazing level design in both the interior and exterior settings, especially the starting playground! Loved the colourful setting and how radiant everything looks, even in darkness :D Also really enjoyed music in each part of the level. Really appreciate the intro pointing out the controls, as well as the monologue guiding the objectives. Hope you could further expand this idea and further flesh out the city setting, I think it would be really fun being able to roam the entire city causing mischief as a racoon!
