It's a nice game, I had a little bit of fun with it. One thing that I find problematic is that you can fail to kill wave 2 because wave 1 did not drop any scraps.

Cool little Tower Defense game! I would've loved some more info/feedback on what the different towers do as I mostly made the most expensive ones after a while (as there was a delay between building and money was abundant).

Well done!

Developer

Thank you very much!! We hoped you enjoyed this little game of ours, and really, thank you for the feedback. We definitely see that we have some changes to add for a future or fixed version of this game, and that makes us feel kind of happy.

Really fun game! I love tower defense games, so I was happy to see another one here. Though, I think more quality of life features (restarting from the pause menu, an in game tutorial or at least something to tell the player what each turret does) would really enhance the experience. Regardless, it was really enjoyable to play! The sound design is really nice, the buzzing sound and bullet hits felt really satisfying the more turrets I placed.

Thank you very much! We are happy that you enjoyed our little game and also really thank you very much for the feedback. We are taking this in consideration for a future version after the gamejam (though this time I think we are going to take it slow).

Also, I’m happy that you liked the sound design, I’m currently still learning so reading your comment really inspires me to practice and learn more.

Very creative take on the tower defense genre! I thought I didn't like that genre, but you made me realize I only didn't like the usual setting of defending a castle. I definitely see a more complete version of this where there's a story, a leveling system, and maybe tycoon/simulation gameplay?

Nice work! Congrats!

Developer

Yeah, we were trying to do the usual of tower defense but with a twist, right now we are at point blank, but we definetely will improve on this game (or this version at least).

I’m glad to hear that by playing this little game we helped you expand your horizons, who knows, maybe there is a tower defense that fits your taste :D.

Anyways, thank you very much for playing the game, we really appreaciate the feedback, but most importantly, that you enjoyed the game.

Fun game, with very nice artwork and a nice range of weapons. I thought the difficulty curve was done well but too many gears dropped making the whole game quite easy (but probably better this way around for a jam). One issue I found was that if you selected a turret before the drone returned you would have to reselect it before placing, I like the fact that you have to wait for the drone just felt a bit buggy that you had to select twice, I would personally make it so you couldn't select a new tower whilst the drone was deployed to add to the time delay :)

Developer

Thank you very much for playing our game.

Yeah, to be honest we implemented the drone thing almost at the end of the timeline, so we left some bugs like that one (or that at the beginning when you place a turret in the turret mode the turret doesn’t move to place it (Ok nevermind, my pal told me that one should work like that but looks buggy, but yeah, the one that you mentioned is a bug)).

So we thank you again for the feedback, in a future release (after the gamejam) we plan to solve some of the issues we have seen in the comments so it feels a little bit more polished.

(BTW, sorry if I write kind of weird here, I haven’t practiced english in a while so I hope I don’t sound like an AI).

Your welcome :) your English is good no need to worry

I wish the game got a bit more difficult as the time went on. Other than that it was a really well made game and I loved it! Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback.

You’re totally right about the difficulty we definitely wanted it to ramp up more, but since this was a jam we decided to play it safe and keep things more accessible and we think we ended up going too easy.

Really glad you enjoyed it overall, though! That means a lot to us.

Nice game! I enjoyed it much. Keep going !

Hey! Thank you very much! :D We are happy that you enjoyed our little game and we hope you had fun.

The tower defense concept was fun and the graphics were really well done! A speedup mechanic would have been nice to have, though the game felt pretty polished overall!

Developer

Hey! Thank you very much for your comment, we are happy that you enjoyed the game. Yeah, we left some features outside of this game mostly because of time, but we can see how a speedup and pause mechanic would have surely be a good thing to implement. We’ll add it to the list of things we may do for this project in the future. Thank you very much for the feedback and have a quacknderful day.

Hey! Love me a good tower defense! The concept is pretty cool, and the visuals are well done! I like how inspired the "towers" are and how they fit the world.

Developer

Hey, thank you very much, we like that you enjoyed the game. We hope to progress in this project in the future. We hope you had a great time playing it.

hmm okay so i saw the menu and immediately thought this was going to be a cool walking zombie rpg i was turned upside down when i realized it was a tower defense. Kinda hard to visually figure out what the top of those shelves were until midway playing i realized thats what they were. Speedup was 10000% needed for this game or like a way to send the next wave in faster. I think needing to click the gears to collect could have been auto'd but really a nonissue as i was just lazy lol. mechanically the game played  pretty fluid and turrets worked no bugs etc. I think i wished there were more turret options as I pretty much always placed whatever I had the most for which min/maxed pretty easily.
I think this would have benefitted from the player sprite placing the turrets and taking time to build it and risk getting attacked by zombies to fit theme more on top of the 1 life.
I think for 6 people calls to question there had a feeling that there should be more done but it was a cleanly polished game.
Well done for what you all made on the short time. couldnt find any bug issues at all either so 10/10 for that.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Really appreciate that you also highlighted the positive points especially the polish. This was only our second game and our second jam, so that means a lot to us.

You’re absolutely right about having the player place turrets directly and risk getting attacked. That would have fit the theme way better, and in hindsight we’re wondering how we didn’t think of it.

We also know there are things still missing, like clearer feedback when zombies get slowed, more turret variety, and generally stronger feedback on some of the mechanics. Your comment really helps us see those priorities better.

Thanks again for taking the time to play and share such detailed thoughts! Comments like yours are super valuable for us to keep learning and improving.
