Loved the customer sprites! The setting and the whole bureaucratic job angle reminded me a bit of Papers, Please. Great job!

Short, fun and straight to the point, I liked it! The controls confused me at first, but once I realized the buttons were laid out kind of like a MOBA it clicked and things went a lot better. It also took me a moment to process that the cannon fires depending on which direction you're facing. Nice work
Really cool concept, it felt like a proper tactical game. I love the mechanic of spending health to raise your stats, and the way you handled the attack/defense percentages. The parry on crits caught me by surprise, and that's actually how I got through the early fights. The HUD glitched out a few times and navigating it felt a bit clunky, but overall it was a solid experience. Nice work C:
You absolutely nailed the style. Honestly, this captures the essence of the Game Boy better than anything I've seen so far. The sound effects were amazing, and the song is incredible, it honestly feels like it could've come straight out of Pokémon Gold/Silver. I was also really surprised by all the different scenes and phases. I had a great time and enjoyed it way too much. I'm even a little mad I didn't come up with something this cool myself haha. Fantastic work :)
Really love the art style, it's super eye-catching and unique! The whole game just oozes personality. The enemies are great too, the cannon pirate was easily my favorite, and the transition screen was awesome. The looping song was a bit loud for me so I ended up muting it after a while, but it's a nice track.
Not sure if it was something I did, but at one point I was taking damage even though there were no enemies on screen.
Really nice job overall!
Thanks so much for playing and for the kind words! Really glad you liked the art and the palette, our artists put a ton of love into it.
And yeah, you're totally right about the map. Like one of our artists mentioned, we had to cut a lot to make the deadline, and better guidance was one of the things that didn't make it in.
Also, I'm really happy you noticed the dialogue system! I built it from scratch and I' damn proud of it, so that means a lot c:
The cookie characters are super cool!
And as others have said don’t give up. Just having the courage to start is already a huge step. Even if what you made doesn’t fully reflect what you had in mind, that only means there are things you can learn and improve on. Keep going, you’re on the right path!
I really enjoyed your game! The art style (both visuals and sound) is super charming and pleasant
I did find a small bug: when clicking the arrow to interact for making cookies, the page scrolled up which was a bit annoying. I also couldn’t get the fullscreen option to work, which made it harder to read the selection menu
This is just a silly thing, but I honestly wanted to smash those jars haha
Overall it was really fun to play, and I think it’s a dungeon crawler with a very original theme and a lot of potential ahead!
Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback.
You’re totally right about the difficulty we definitely wanted it to ramp up more, but since this was a jam we decided to play it safe and keep things more accessible and we think we ended up going too easy.
Really glad you enjoyed it overall, though! That means a lot to us.
Really appreciate that you also highlighted the positive points especially the polish. This was only our second game and our second jam, so that means a lot to us.
You’re absolutely right about having the player place turrets directly and risk getting attacked. That would have fit the theme way better, and in hindsight we’re wondering how we didn’t think of it.
We also know there are things still missing, like clearer feedback when zombies get slowed, more turret variety, and generally stronger feedback on some of the mechanics. Your comment really helps us see those priorities better.
Thanks again for taking the time to play and share such detailed thoughts! Comments like yours are super valuable for us to keep learning and improving.
