Everything except font was made during the jam.

Not bad for a first jam entry, it became a little tough with the shooting not able to shoot left and I was swarmed with bats (or idk what it's called). Good job overall

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! You should be able to shoot in all directions, it’s based on mouse position :)

Nice idea! it would be more challenging if you could still be seen while shooting

I like the idea. And your artstyle is pretty too. The controls are a bit imprecise as it seems to me. I'm always falling off the edge of a platform or something like that. But maybe this is a skill issue.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Not a skill-issue, I could definitely have improved on the controls!

First time seeing something like this! I love the idea! Great work!

Thank you!

I enjoyed the mechanic, I Think it's probably the first time I've ever seen it, nice work. I think being able to kill aliens offscreen was a bit cheesy, however a few lines of code should do. another optional thing you could add are things like coyote time and jump buffering, that way the game feels more responsive, however don't worry too much if you don't use it.

overall nice first game for the time you had cut off👍

Thank your for the feedback, especially about the mechanic! It came up as an idea late after scrapping the first 4 concepts I had at the start of the week after just not finding them fun so it became crunch time lol.

Very cool idea with lurking enemies into your shooting range and only be able to shoot from a certain place. Never had something like this before.

The visuals were pretty basic though and I really missed sound design for the enemy's, they look quite menacing but don't emit any sound that match the look.

Controls and gameplay felt pretty smooth and it was fun and also challenging.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Would've loved to put some more polish on it but had to cut the jam short

Really great entry! Congratulations on your first jam. It's really funny, I got to eat the giantifier biscuit 😁

Developer

Thank you and well done! :D

I don't think the word "hero" is the right one to use here...

Interesting little platformer with a fun hiding mechanic, I really enjoyed it.

Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thank you!

Wow quite risky!  The 'hide' feature was a new surprise to see in a game.  I guess my lack of sleep has my motor skills lacking, I died pretty quick.

The vibe really convinced me that i'm the last humanoid in the world.

It's cool, the game can be addictive, but it feels pretty unprocessed to me

Developer

Thanks, I had to cut the jam short due to planned events at the end of the week so didn't have much time for polish etc.

This was really cool! I like the premise of having to hide in the snow piles to be able to shoot, it adds an extra layer to the usual platformer gameplay. The visuals and audio also made for a really nice atmosphere, the mix between the snow and the music was really nice. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for this!
