Pretty fun and visually impressive game. I love how if you pull the same clothing item, the cat will just wear it over the item they already have on.

I did struggle a bit with this game's movement though. Especially the jump forward which always does a set distance, rather than stopping when I take my finger off the key. And I didn't love how the rotating platforms don't make the cat rotate too, which is really visually jarring. I hope you change that in the future.

But overall a really cool game, especially from just one person.

Such a fun game, really a great submission to the jam and for a single dev its really impressive work. I had a lot of fun running through the maps and the controls were easy to understand and levels were well thought out. A small idea to had more to the game is to add a time limit to beat each level or a score based on how fast you beat a level so players will want to take risks to get a faster time

Glad to hear it's so well received! That's a really cool idea with the "time to biscuit" reward, I wish I had thought of it when I was making it. It would really help the struggling biscuit economy. I will probably add to an updated version which is mostly done, but I cannot upload it during the voting. Thank you for playing and the great suggestion :3

An enjoyable and silly experience! I did not get the golden biscuit, a classic gacha moment (although I didn't collect every biscuit, maybe that's the reason...). I will say, past the gacha collectable system, it is just a simple 3D platformer, and sometimes the level design is a bit weird (the level with the rotating roulette spinners, and the last level), but overall it's still quite fun. I also really like the art and theming (extra points for solo dev), it's really cohesive. Lastly, I agree with everyone else, the respawning is so clean!

Thank you for the feedback, there is a pity system implemented to guarantee the golden biscuit at 35 pulls with biscuits mathed out to be a bit more than enough to get it, i might need to tweak the amount however.

I'm not sure which exactly is the roulette spinners level (really should have given them names),  the last level was designed to be a big challange gauntlet putting together all the previous elements though I can see how it turned out really lack luster in presentation (it was 3am tho).

Thank you for playing the game and again for all the feedback, I will see to implementing some changes based on it ♥ Glad you enjoyed it

Y'know, i may have not gotten to the very end, I stopped on the level when there were there were rotating card groups (those were some tough jumps!) But that makes a lot of sense. It's a parody of a gacha game, after all (though it didn't emulate a severe lack of 4* items, I actually got a decent amount)! with the design, I had a similar problem of working until the very late hours. (but for me it was more finishing off the game). I wouldn't say the levels were lack-luster in presentation, they looked great! It was more down to level design where I found it felt a bit jank, but for most of the levels I did play, they were well-designed. It was more the later ones. I'll be sure to check out those changes later!

The respawn animation was a highlight for me i always hate restarting so it felt like i was straight back in the game without an annoying wait. I found the camera to be a bit clunky if oudn myself needing to pre move it into the correct position. I also think the platforming would have been more forgiving of the items had slightly larger collision than just their physical presence i think it's fairly standard for that in platformers.

I loved the commentary in gatcha games although I think if you let me buy the biscuits with real money it would have been more impactful :P

Glad you like the respawn animation, it was the first thing I designed when making this actually.

I considered the problems with the camera, not sure what exactly I can do to adjust it yet but I will look into it. The hitbox are very accurate, however I can see how increasing them would be lead to better experience. Frankly I didn't know platformers really did that, since precision jumping is a main skill in them.

Thank you for giving me your feedback ^^ and I'm happy you enjoyed the Gatcha idea. Not sure I’d have the time to develop a secure payment method and a game in one week though. I can't ship a "give me your money" as a game :P

Yeah I might have got the concept a bit confused but here is an article about it https://www.ketra-games.com/2021/08/coyote-time-and-jump-buffering.html it's bascially about making the player succeeed a bit more often.

btw i was joking about the payment thing ;)

Respawn animation was pretty funny, took me by surprise. I like the feel of movement, but was never quite sure what the point of winning rare gacha items was. Thanks for making this!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing the game ^^ Makes me happy you enjoyed the movement. The idea of the SR items, were mostly inspired by Team Fortress 2 and it's absurd Hat economy actually. Though now I'm considering making them give slight buffs to the player especially with how brutal I made the last level.

Thank you for giving your feedback ♥ it's very much appreciated.
