A cute and creative spin on the classic minesweeper game, I really liked cat art as well. Well done!

Love the are for the game!

I love the art for sure! After a few levels I was left wondering why keep going? I mean, it’s fun enough, but collecting points just for points sake didn’t motivate me. Different abilities per character, I dunno. Obviously in a jam you can only do so much, and what’s here’s really good! Super enjoyable entry :)

I love the art of this game! I was excited to see it was similar to minesweeper. I play that on transport all the time! Maybe I don't understand the instructions, but I thought the danger number should be the number of enemies in one of the eight boxes surrounding the ninja. But sometimes, it would say 7 when there were only 4 boxes neighboring the ninja. I would move around and sometimes the number would make sense and sometimes it would be way too high for the number of boxes I already opened around me. Is this a bug? I would really love it if I could play and see the true level of danger in the boxes directly surrounding the ninja, or an explanation of the danger mechanic. With some tweaks, I would play so many levels of this game. :)

Thank you for playing!

The danger level shows the strength of all nearby enemies, not their number. So if it shows 7, it means there could be (for example) two enemies of strength 5 and 2. Or 3 enemies of strength 1, 2, 4. Etc. Different enemies have different strength. When your character fights an enemy/they lose the corresponding amount of health. But we don’t have a detailed explanation of that inside the game. Thanks for playing!

There was an idea to make characters different, but there was no time to implement it.

Fun game with nice art and simple yet engaging mechanisms. The sound effects were snappy. Also made me hungry!

Very nice, I really loved the look of the game. Also the sound effects and the music fits the game perfectly. Would recommend it.

Well done!

Very good game! I was also expecting characters to be different but I understand the gam didn't allowed for it. Would love to see it developed further!

A classic with a great theme and logic! It would be awesome to see it officially released!

I'm not saying this lightly, this just might be the most enjoyable game in the jam. It's just a cool angle on a classic. It's very simple, takes you 30s to grasp the rules and changes to regular minesweeper. The extremely cute and cohesive art just adds to it. It might get boring in time but for a game jam game it was perfect. I honestly would love to give some criticism but it's hard to - maybe the game feel could be a little better. Moving around the character on empty rows feels slow, could be a little snappier. And the fights - it's currently very clear what's happening but after few fights you know the drill they could be just faster. But that's nitpicking, excellent entry.

Thank you for playing! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed the game. Thank you for your suggestions as well. I think we can add a few more levels without making it too repetitive if we also add variety to the game by implementing different abilities for different characters. Having traps and moving tiles could also work.

Nice casual version of minesweeper. But I don't understand sense in several characters, i tried 2 of them and not find any difference, except a sprite.

This reminded me so much of minesweeper! Great concept, and really fun level design.

Sorry, I must have gotten confused, this is the game jam ratings page right? Oh it is? THEN HOLY CRAP IS THIS A GOOD GAME. This looks straight out of something I might have played from the 3ds e-shop. Its really well made

Developer(+1)

Oh my, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the game so much! We think of adding a few touches to it after the jam. Maybe not right away, but we would like to make characters have different abilities. So if you are interested please subscribe!

Very unique decision making + risk factor, love the art and aesthetic, everything fits together so well, Great work!

Thank you very much for your kind feedback!

Great, great sprite work. I'm a big fan of just having fun with character designs - so having a bunch of different character art (and dishes) was a big plus in my eyes, even when it doesn't add much mechanically.

As someone who is really dreadful at minesweeper I expected the gameplay loop to be torterous for me; I was pleasantly surprised when I beat it on my second run. Thanks for not making too punishing! Good choice in music aswell.

Thank you for playing! I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the game. There was a plan to make different characters unique in something, but there was no time to implement that, of course :)

This is such a cool game! I love puzzle games and cats, so it's perfect for me lol
It would be great if you could add a feature to place notes on the squares like in Sudoku.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and for your kind words! We didn’t think about notes, but it could be an interesting idea.
