Description
Electronic ambient soundtrack with a hint of orchestral and synthwave, made in FL Studio. Designed for a narrative detective puzzle game, similar to The Operator or Night Call.
Once Upon a Summer Night - Main theme. Plays in menu, and during important moment.
In Face of Suspicion - Generic ambient music. Plays during gameplay, when solvingpuzzles or the like.
Sleeping on Incongruities - Plays at the end of each day when time loops. After the first loop, it is shortened.
Mourning After - Plays in ending cutscene/credits after a bittersweet ending.

I like it, very atmospheric, and at times it reminded me of MUSE. On top of that, great quality!!

Hell yeah, spring reverb! It’s so cool that you went with noir/surf vibes for this OST, the guitar really helps tie everything together.

Once Upon a Summer Night is an especially atmospheric track, and the tremolo there was a great touch.

Definitely one of the most memorable submissions for me so far.

Ambient soundscapes aren't really my kind of music but I thought all the mixing was really good.

I liked the warble on the guitar in particular.

The first track falls a bit short for me in that it just doesn't feel like much is happening over the course of 4 minutes. Even a little beat or some (more consistent) background textures would help liven things up a bit! 

"Mourning After" picks up nicely afterwards, the chord progression here works really well.

"Once Upon A Summer Night" has a really boppin' synth bass that gets things moving nicely.

"Sleeping on Incongruities was really cool with it's powerful, in-your-face textures from the beginning. 

Overall, a solid submission  with great guitar work, and I'm always down for a good time loop story. Nice job!

hmm this submission feels …very augmented.. although jokes aside augmented chords here do creat an awesome cold soundscape ,awesome work!

HOLY COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS  *insert pointing spiderman meme*. Haha but seriously its crazy to see someone else have a city-scape themed time loop submission! I liked the cold, mysterious detective feel of your songs, and am also a fan of the mint guitar. The driving synthwave basses are really cool as well. Well done (and good aesthetic choice in themes 😏)

I feel like time loops are a natural starting point from "Cold ____ Night" lol.
The overall style was inspired by a criminally underrated soundtrack for a game called The Operator. Sleeping on Incongruities is actually specifically inspired by some of the tracks from that game. I wanted to also add some kind of haunting vocals, but developed a sore throat just in time for the jam 😭

Really pretty soundscape and fantastic work on the guitars! I feel like a little bit of percussion on some songs could help as a driving force, especially if you were to have a song that plays during a more time-sensitive part of the game. But it's hard to call that criticism and, if anything, just left me wanting to hear more from this world that I fell into. Great job, I'd love to hear this soundtrack is a proper game!

I made a more intense track for a more intense moment, but decided to scrap it because it didn't really fit the rest of the soundtrack. I might polish it up and release it seperately.

I got the guitar VST literally the day before the jam, and immediately new I wanted to use it.

To be honest, I'm tempted to make this game now lol.

IT'S A VST????? You sure fooled me, wow!

I had to scrap a couple of higher-energy songs as well because they didn't fit the package so I totally get it haha if you do end up doing more with it, please let me know! Especially if you make the game; good luck if you do!!
