How does the game fit the theme?
The player constantly faces dangerous choices — escaping from wolves, wild boars, carnivorous plants, and strong hunters while deciding whether it’s worth going after biscuits scattered across the map. Some biscuits require solving puzzles, while others are placed in risky spots that force the player to expose themselves to threats. This balance between safety and reward creates tension where progress always comes with taking a risk.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of the code was written by me. The only external assets used are the isometric tiles from scrabling.itch.io/pixel-isometric-tiles

Nice gameplay, not as easy as I thought it would be.
And a quite unique death screen I'd say. Well done!
I like the animals and their animations. I think the hunter is a nice but an unnecessary feature, the game has plenty other mechanics and challenges. For the letter challenge I would've restricted the letters nearby each other instead of seemingly randomly. The input also didn't feel to match the bar, resulting an early press as success. I would've loved to see my health and stamina when needed (running). Or was there some audio visual cues I didn't notice?
Good job!
Really nice game, love the art and the gameplay is quite fun.
Really cute art!
That’s a handsome deer, over there. And more than enough encounters that make this experience feel rather realistic. There’s a lot in this game.
I was able to solve one puzzle, despite the letters being rather obscured by the white horizontal line. For example, I couldn’t see the difference between Q an O, and between N and H. Maybe room for improvement?
Very good looking game! The visuals and atmosphere are great. The controls could be a bit improved. For some reason i always tried to hold done the mouse button. Solid entry! Good job!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the visuals and atmosphere. I’ll keep the control feedback in mind, really appreciate it!
Beautifully serene :)
until the arrows start raining, atleast^^
Thanks! Happy you enjoyed the calm moments… I actually thought about making it even harder, but I didn’t want to remove the cozy moments completely and just put the player under stress :D
Really lovely graphics and ambiance, the world has nice puzzles, on my side the right click movement was a pain because it opened the google options dropdown menu each time, other than that really nice cozy and cute game!
Thanks for the feedback! This was actually my first time making a game where the character moves with right click. I usually go with WASD or arrow keys, so I didn’t expect it to cause this kind of issue :D I’ll definitely keep it in mind if I make another mouse-controlled game in the future.
Great game! I loved the art and music. The death audio gives me PTSD though😅
I know exactly what you mean, I get PTSD from that death sound too. Thanks for playing and for the kind words!
Love the peaceful (okay except when the wolves are chasing you) vibes of this game. The art and lighting are lovely and the music fits the game super well. I enjoyed wandering around and trying to figure out the various areas. Gameplay was pretty smooth overall.
Thank you so much!
I love it! This game is very refreshing to play. The ambiance is perfect thanks to the beautiful pixel art and the chill music. I just found a little bug, when the wolfes are chasing you, their bite animation is to long so they can't bite us if we move normaly. It's a great game nevertheless! Congrats!
I hadn’t noticed that bug, thanks a lot for pointing it out! Really appreciate the feedback.
I liked the game and expecially sound- and artdesign! Very well done.
I would recommend making a "hit"-animation for the deer, since I first did not notice that I got damage.
Otherwise a great game!
Thanks a lot! You’re right about the hit feedback—there wasn’t a specific sprite for a hit animation, but I could’ve added something like a bleeding particle effect or a quick color change on the character.
Great graphics, I managed to eat a few biscuits. Rather polished for a 1 week jam. Well Done!
Thank you! Happy to hear you enjoyed it.
It looks so beautiful! The reflex based puzzles and the enemies were a bit too difficult to be safe from, especially the hunter. Might give it a try again! Good work!
Man! Great art style and animation. I loved the sound design too. Awesome job for a one-week game jam. Congrats!
Thank you so much!
Loved it! this game is a really unique experience and so impressive for a 1 week jam. The visuals and sound are great. Overall this is a really well put together experience. Congrats!
Thank you so much!
Love the sprites,
love the vibes.
Not really sure why
I am getting air striked.
Thanks a lot!
Such a good idea with brilliant execution. Nothing feels unfair despite being lower on the food chain than actual plants. Deer/10
Thank you so much, that means a lot :)
Awesome art, honestly there should be more games that are with point and click to move and dodge. although shift and right click wasn't the best idea, it kept popping up the options menu on my browser
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you liked the art and the point-and-click style. I tried replacing shift with left click, but it felt confusing so I dropped it—wish I had tried the space bar instead.
i feel pretty deer about this game
