Description
Genre: Orchestral; These tracks are mostly meant for chatting and idle moments (BGM ambience) for a game about a schoolgirl exploring strange occurrences in a newly renovated academy.
I used FL Studio 2025 to create each track with several orchestral libraries for Kontakt, SWAM for solo strings, and the CFX Concert series for piano.

Message from the artist
Thank you for listening to my music! This jam was a departure from what I'm most comfortable with, but I want to define my orchestral composition more and more; I hope you like it.

Loved the harmonies and the textures here

Love the string work here, Rinew Millieu was my favorite, it reminded me a lot of the work in Rule of Rose.

Instant 5 stars on impression. What an incredible guitar playing. The track itself is calm and invites you to investigate the game's world further, "Curious" is what I'd use to describe it.

Overall the tracks succeeded in what they set out to accomplish, I can see them fitting very well as background for ongoing conversations. Even so, they're all very interesting to listen to on their own, which I can't say for a lot of more "Background-y" tracks lol. The quality of the instruments along with the composition made this a great time. I also noticed some light leitmotif usage between tracks, always a treat.

Well-Oiled Rinew Milieu was definitely a big favourite, the violin is used really well in that track along with the piano, tho every track is really good so it was hard to choose haha.

Koniologer's Garden is my personal favourite, I love the chord progression in that song, it fills me with wonder for this location that I've never visited.

Well done!

I really liked the composing in this especially. It was creatively composed, you did a lot of really nice, interesting, pleasant things.

Great work! :)

This is a great submission, the melodies are lively and engaging but not overpowering at the same time. Love it!

Amazing set of tracks ! I think what you accomplished very well here is that ambiant background music with melodies that can be repeated without boring the player/without catching it's attention too much.

I think that's not easy to do, and your ost is still playfull and has a musical identity, it sets the mood for the moments you described very well. It would leave room for more personalised character themes and story moments to stood out (which I would love to hear one day :) so amazing craft on that level imo.

Many tracks presented great and subtle ideas to expand quietly, and that Toy Soldier track was so well composed ! Super interesting, bravo :)

I loved the cover art. My favorite was Little Soldiers.

ur so insane WHAT the control on the notes and composition is so crazy

The third track had a lot of fun rhythmic patterns that made it very interesting to listen to. It was my favorite of the OST. It reminded me of Ace Attorney music a lot!

This was very well done with some great melodies. Another Ponedïa was my favorite! Nice work :)

This is really sweet I love the composition style and vibes! If I had to critique anything I feel like the mix to my ears is a little mid-rangey and almost too warm. I also think this submission would benefit a lot from more stereo width and panning. This is definitely one of my favorite submissions so far, it's very beautiful!

Very playful, I liked it a lot! Especially Toy Soldiers and Koniologer's garden

Oooo, this is so warm and nice. I love it. Especially the last song just makes me want to close my eyes and drown in it.

To be constructive, I'll repeat what I said to a lot of people in this Jam - I would like it even a little bit more if the melodies got attention to every note in terms of velocity. Playing most of the lead melody with the same velocity works better with openly digital music than it does with real-but-digital instruments.

That being said, I rate this very highly and I loved every piece. Koniologier's Garden, although being very guilty in what I'm saying above, was mesmerizing and probably my favorite. That one or No Shores.

Great job.

Great work, I love how catchy and bouncy many of the tracks are, and the strings used throughout sound really nice. Campfire Working is one of my favourites for these reasons! I also really like No Shores for Eaters of Men, it has a fantastic soft ambient sound.

Love the playful vibes! Also, the first three tracks sound as they belong in the Digital edition of the tabletop game Root (and I mean it as a compliment)!

Lovely piece, very sweet and gentle, nice arrangement and orchestration, whole album felt super coherent and different at the same time which is fantastic they all have their own unique feel. Well done :) !

Hey, congrats on the awesome work! I absolutely love 'Well-Oiled Rinew Milieu,' but honestly, everything sounds nice.

Wow such a beautiful ambient score! Koniologer's score is super nice wind harmony, sounds like something ancient or liminal, Well-Oiled Mileau too. Ponedia has a really nice playful touch. The schooldays + anomolous vibe definitely comes across in pallete and composition. The piano in Toy Soldiers was really interesting. Botanica might interest you if you wanted to add sound design. Great work!
