Hello ! I made this on the time I have. Sorry for the graphs and bugs.

- some times, balls do not merge

Interesting merging mechanic that becomes clear after a bit of experimentation. I liked combining the circles, but missing music/ SFX drops experience here! Still, good entry. This is what I thought in more detail:

Game play / Fun / Engagement ●●●○○
The core idea is clever and has potential, but it feels somewhat 'underdeveloped'. The lack of variety and feedback during merges makes the game less engaging over longer play sessions.. But I like that you need to pay attention when to actually drop a ball. Thus, much potential, but also needs polish. 3/5

Art Style / Visuals ●●○○○
The visuals are functional but very minimal, while it feels like a prototype. You used the given shapes only, so this is a bonus! But there’s not much polish or flair. Adding some small effects, like particles or a light shake when circles merge, an interesting UI etc. would make the game feel more alive and satisfying. 2/5

Audio / Sound Design ●○○○○
This is where the game is lacking the most.... Without background music or sound effects, the experience feels a bit empty. Even simple sounds for merges or a subtle loop in the background would go a long way to improve experience. 1/5

Theme ●●●●●
You nailed the theme of course. The limited space works perfectly with the game play concept. The mechanic of being limited with the dropping of balls feels like a natural extension of the theme! 5/5

By any chance you aren't "Suika" from the "Dr. Stone" anime right ? 😊

Nice little game you got here good job!

Please rate/play my game if you won't be annoyed by it....

Though I'd be grateful if you do play and rate it since you doing so will support my game a lot and will help in releasing my game's demo.

The idea is really interesting. I confess that the first time I played, I had no idea it was possible to merge circles with the same number. So, that was an unexpected mechanic that really took me by surprise and, in fact, increased my engagement with the game.

You did a great job using the theme and the shape limitations, everything aligns well with the game’s concept. During gameplay, I did feel the lack of background music, even something subtle, as it would have added more life to the game. And of course, sound effects (like when we merge two circles with the same number) would have been a nice touch.

Still on the topic of merging two circles with the same number, it might have been cool to add small particles when that happens, or perhaps even a slight screen shake to make the action feel more impactful.

I believe the lack of these features was due to time constraints, but it’s always a good idea to try and add at least something sound-related to the core mechanics of our games, as it can significantly enhance immersion and satisfaction.

For a score-based game, I think I didn’t do too badly haha, 1600 points. It made me want to challenge myself again after I understood the mechanics better, and ironically, my lack of skill actually shone through, and I ended up scoring lower than I did when I had less experience. Funny, right?

Congratulations on the game, and good luck with the jam!

I'm not the only one who made a Suika style game πŸ˜„ I already expected that a bit. Maybe I should also have put numbers on my pieces. I tried making them distinct with outlines but maybe that was not distinct enough.

I got 1702 on the first try which was a bit scammed. I had a big chain reaction and I guess one piece center near the limit line was a tiny bit over it for a microsecond before a third of the circles got merged in that big chain reaction making a lot of room again.

Hello :) ! Thanks for playing my suika game too, glad you enjoyed it !
Yes, I think same as you for your planets, but I like how you handle suika and the 3D. I am happy to be able to compare my game to yours. And discover different way to made it.

This game fits the theme very well! It would be great to make the gameplay a bit more juicy with some animations and sound effects. Also, for me the graphics only took up a tiny portion of the screen - the camera could be positioned better.

Developer

Hello :) ! Thanks for the feedback. I am agree with you. What do you mean by animations ?

Did you  play on mobile ? It is because I did not set the properties well ^^' (for next version, after the jam)

Maybe some particle effect when the balls merge into a bigger one? I played on my desktop and noticed that the game only took up a small portion of the area at the top left. I’ll try to send a screenshot later.

Really fun and engaging tetris style game! It lacks a bit in polish but, totally makes up for it in a very addictive gameplay loop.. Just adding some visual and audio feedback would enhance the fun by a lot! Also i didnt come across any bugs. Definitely has really good potential, great work :)
