Interesting project you got here, would suggest adding a tutorial.

How does your game fit the theme?
The game is based of a small arena where the player tries to survive
Hello, nice game :) ! Maybe you can increase the juice by making the player always bounce, even on same place. Also, the constraints for 3d is sphere + Square pyramid. You can use square pyramid to make your platform. It will be more readable than circle.
yeah you're right but using a circle uses less vertices than a Square pyramid since the circles are not meshes but just an image texture for a face of a cube. I did this while thinking of my game's future where there will be a mode which will have more bigger arena and more mobs who act like mobs from Megabonk (the mobs get on top of each other) while trying to catch the player). Also since this will be multiplayer and I'd like it if the players don't have to play a lagging game due to a lot of meshes on the screen.
I do feel like the music is god, the menu music is definitely a bop! β«βͺ I love the emoji theme, fun way to use the circles for characters. You nailed my everyday facial expression too, very accurate! π

Hi!I think this game have a good idea...but there is a problems.First:Nothing motivates you to move, you can just sit in the corner.Second:platforms falls without warning. If you add some mativator to move, more various and fun gameplay, this game would be really cool.I wish you good luck with your future projects!
Thanks a lot for your reply!
Let me run you through what actually happened, so that you may give this game another chance.......
The game is on easy mode to let players like me actually have it easy the first few rounds, starting from round three the game starts showing it's true colours by removing all the safe tiles and setting the mobs on you until you die.
True, I noticed that but couldn't do anything since I was short on time.
a very nice and cool game !!
the gameplay is unique .. but has a lot of issues ..
firstly .. if you don't move you don't lose .. I think if you add something the force the player to move .. like turning off the collision of the platforms when the player stand on them for a while .. that will make the game feel so much better .
also I think the platforms collision is bigger than what it should be as I could not really fall between the them
I really liked the visuals and the abiliity to choose your character , also the game fits well the given theme
the musc , sfx are good but need some work
I will be waiting the next update :)
( sorry for my bad english it's not my praimary language :) )
Firstly thanks for writing even though English isn't your primary language......
And I strongly suggest that you give this game another try, since it was made with the thought that the player at least plays the game for 5mins. Approximately, 90 secs later the 1st round of the game ends - with it some of the safe platform tiles disappear. As you progress further all the safe platforms are removed and the mobs start chasing you starting round 3.
I purposefully didn't make the first two rounds too hard since not all players are skilled enough to play hard levels/areas of a game.
Thanks again for your valued response, Have a Nice Day!
Creative game with fun βemoji-likeβ visuals and solid mechanics. While the lack of introduction and some mismatched design choices hold it back slightly, the game play can be engaging once you get into it...but also you can hit high scores by just doing nothing. This is what I though in detail
Game play / Fun / Engagement βββββ
The core game play is quite nice, especially with the βhopβ mechanics that make it kinda funny. However, the start feels rough, since thereβs no clear explanation of what to do, which can be frustrating for first-time players. Main weakness is, I guess, that you also can do nothing and still get a bunch of points! Because of the weak on boarding, and the lack of difficulty, but solid mechanics, I rate it 4 out of 5.
Art Style / Visuals βββββ
I really like the creativity behind the emoji-like faces! They give the game a lot of personality. The limited shapes are used cleverly, but the chosen colors (especially in the UI) donβt fully harmonize with the overall style. That mismatch makes me subtract one point, so visuals get 4 out of 5.
Audio / Sound Design βββββ
The music is pleasant on its own but doesnβt quite match the mood of the game (neither UI nor game itself), which makes it feel slightly off. The SFX, on the other hand, fit and are functional, but you could use "funnier" sounds to also match those faces. Since nothing really stands out, audio is a 3 out of 5.
Theme βββββ
The interpretation of the theme here works very well. You literally have limited space to hop on or you'll lose. As it is visible and also core mechanic, theme is 5/5.
Thanks a lot for your valued feedback!
Umm....I'm actually not good with SFX/Music, I chose the audios based on how I felt paired with my vision for the game. Though in my vision I hadn't thought of the audios so that might be the reason it didn't bloom well with everything π.
Thanks again for your reply........
PS I'd love some guidance on what type of SFX/BG music might work, hence please share your valued guidance so that I can improve....
Regarding music it is always a thing of liking or not. The main thing when creating a game like this: You need to like it! For me the BG is not the best here, I guess. It is not cartoonish, but just house style (?). It would elevate the experience if it is a music that is connected with "competition". Fast and cartoonish, yes....
But I think SFX is even more important here. Some more fancy sound effects when hitting a platform, falling down etc.

Funny enough- the best score I got, was when I left the controls, and the game played itself. I'm really bad at this game :)
The presentation is fine. The faces look cool, but at the same time they use only allowed shapes.
The gameplay is... strange. Should I be able to fall between the circles? Because I can't! I guess the colliders have a not-spherical shape, but still, a bit weird. The gameplay plays into the theme, but it would be nice if there was more going on. Like if the circles on the floor could be jumped on a set number of times before falling?
Also I discovered a bug- you can start the game, without selecting a character.
Thanks for playing my game, yes I didn't notice it since I didn't get enough time to playtest the game since at the last few hours I was adding the multiple character selection feature. Also this game hasn't reached even 50% of what I imagined in my mind. So I'm working to fix the game while the voting period is going on. I just finished debugging the player getting stuck in air for a few secs, also I initially thought of making the arena big with people cheering on the side but didn't have enough time. Plus after adding random mob movements in the first few rounds (1 & 2) the player was losing health fast so I added the waiting area as a seat to let players enjoy watching the mobs move to the rhythm of the bg music and also have enough time to fool around to get the hang of controls. Also the final game probably won't have the safe tiles and instead have powerups which the mobs will be able to use too. Plus since this game's idea came to me when I thought the characters and how their personality, I thought multiplayer would be the best choice, so I thought of adding that and a few game modes like a generic survival, the normal mode which is already present in the current version of the game and maybe a few racing modes and a stealth ninja mode where the player's hide and hunt down other players in a multiplayer setting, they can ghosts or normal players though I haven't figured out when to let people use the ghost form, I've got some ideas atleast.....
The game fits the theme but the gameplay lacks quite a few things.
Here are a few ideas:
The player should start in the center of the map. As it is now you can just do nothing for the first 2 minutes. The balls will just fall by themselves and give you points so why move at all?
Then when the arena shrinks just move a bit forward. When the tile from under you disappears jump on the next tile (after it disappears you have like 1 second in witch you can still jump). And then just spam this action until you get bored.
When playing the game as it was intended it seems that the ball often gets stuck. I am not sure what happens exactly but its quite frustrating.
+I think using pentagons instead of circles for the tiles would have been better as it would have made an interesting pattern.
the collision shape is a cube, so changing the visible shape will do nothing.
Also it seems you haven't rated my game as my ratings didn't go up.......please check your support will make my day π₯Ίπ₯Ί
Qbert meets Fall Guys final game mode. I wish there was a way to be more determinate about how the enemy falls rather than just wait them out. Also they would just spawn on top of me and take a life. Interesting concept though.
Yeah.......
(Also they would just spawn on top of me and take a life.) I'm working on this part though the safe tiles in the first few rounds are given to escape to crazy mobs dancing around.
The game starts to be fun from third round where they start chasing you, but the first two round you can hold out without doing anything and just waiting on the safe tiles.
Also by chance did you forget to rate it ? since the number of ratings didn't go up π₯Ίπ₯Ί!
I like the concept but it needs a lot more time, found a couple weird bugs like the ball not jumping at all or being able to roll through the holes between spaces.
Can you please explain when ball wasn't jumping at all ? Also when the ball rolls through the holes ? I mean the ball does get stuck under the circular platforms, but rolling under it is new to me please explain? Like what you pressed and if it was after the warning signs appeared, if yes then did you count if it was the 1st or 2nd time? It'd be a great help to my debugging if you're specific about the bug please

I like how you made the faces from the shapes given. I would had preferred if there was some warning before new balls would arrive or the floor would fall.
I love the art of the different characters and it was fun to bounce around!! played through a few times, i didn't really understand why i was getting kills but it was satisfying jumping around and dodging the enemies. also i enjoyed your choice of sound effects. i did occasionally get stuck in the platforms but mostly it was fine :) great work!!!
Thanks a lot! I originally thought of adding two game modes would've been fun like single player and multiplayer or just two different games using the same characters in the same game (so different genres basically)....though I started working on this late due to Second Sin which I couldn't polish properly due to lack of time since my godot project wasn't exporting due to some bug with export templates. So I tried remaking it in Gdevelop in the last 14hrs. Oh well.....I'd say Crumbling Blobs is much more polished than Second Sin currently.....Though I'll fix all my unfinished projects as soon as I finish my current project that I wish to finish before Halloween.
Fun game hopping around, missed the cool hopping sounds would be fun!!
I tried my best to stay alive as long as possible, would indeed be a fun multiplayer game if it's worked out more. Battling against friends. The art is simple , with the right music and audio this game would be very cool.
Mechanics where good alto somtimes I got stuck in between platforms (glad I didn't fall trough it).
