I love the artstyle, a bit better map design couldve showed the art off even more!
The control were nice but for there to be 3 attack monkeys might have been better to stick with one.

Love the art style of this game! Very unique game in terms of play style

Really like the vibes of this one,
but the music wasn't really doing it for me, it's too basic.
I bet it would've slapped more with some Edo period inspired music.
The art and music really sets up the atmosphere - the only complaint I have is some slashing SFX when attacking enemies. Very original concept and very immersive!
Loved the atmosphere and the art is top-notch. I had trouble switching characters so I didn't really change up how I played. I think if they didn't run back to the fire when you moved it (or tried to keep their position relative to the fire) you could have a bit more strategy.
Fun game! I ended up only using one of the attackers however because the other 2 never felt necessary and were kinda hard to swap between. There was also a couple times were i choose the wrong path and fail the level because i didnt know how to get where the arrow pointed. Aside from that is was really fun and I love the art style!
It definitely takes a bit of getting used to for the controls. We had less time to fully optimize and play test, but once it’s ready it should be much easier to control. We also wanted to trick the player and find the correct way to the goal; more fun levels and maps will be added for variety. Thank you for playing and glad you enjoyed it !!
The dim lighting and bgm give this game a great feeling. Was a bit confusing at first and when the monkeys started to rotate it melted my brain. Very cool and interesting concept. And good coding; I liked how the group squished up against walls!
Just a tip as a fellow Godot dev; you can replace the default Godot loading image with one of your own, its in Project Settings -> Boot Splash. I always recommend it as it makes the game feel more complete and only takes 2 minutes!
Really cool combat system, super unique and really fun once you get into a good rotation. Aesthetic is really solid too. Super cool game! Awesome stuff!
