It's a good framework for something that could be a fun mobile game in the future. Would've loved to see some different obstacles for it, and maybe have the spikes not always come in on both sides at the same time. Different intervals would've also helped the game not feel as easy.

But as I mentioned, it's a good framework for something to build further on. Well done!

Super simple game but that makes it kinda fun. I'd totally see this as a fun mobile game. It's already in portrait mode in the browser so easy 😂

Cute Monkeys ! :D

Cute idea, very simple and fairly easy, but I do like the idea of having to pass the banana through the hoops. If you wanted to expanded the game a bit after the jam is over,  I think there is potential there

love the gameplay concept, possible for mobile game release thanks to the layout. For some reason in my browser it aligns to the left (not center), but it is probably just issue on my end, nothing major.

Thank you for letting me know. I’ve diagnosed a fix already and will be implimented once voting ends and a decision has been made. :)

Pretty short game- but a jam friendly difficulty to be able to win. Not to hard- but not "first try".

Main thing I'd fix as soon as the jam ends is the viewport settings I mentioned.

Recorded my live feedback, much more than I could fit in a comment haha xd :

Oh my goodness thank you for letting me know those tips!! I’ll see if i can impliment a permanent fix for the viewport once the jam ends. jam time was really cutting it close. I’ll be VERY mindful next time when it comes to github repos. its awesome to learn this stuff I basically learn from jams each time.

great idea for the pals theme! after dying to the first spikes, i got a hold of it and enjoyed the experience! if there would've been more time to polish additional mechanics and the flow of the game, this game could easily be super addicting!

i love your take on the theme and it's super adorable!!!! (◕‿◕✿) i loved working with my monkey pal

Cool stuff, goes with the theme really well. I'd say for visual clarity the walls on either side could go at the same speed as the spikes. Then maybe with some ramping difficulty or more obstacles could be improved even more. Love the little monkey guys animations, and the mechanic of throwing the banana across through hoops is a great addition! well done :)
