When I use an engine at all, it's usually Twine, but most of my games don't use one. I code them by hand.
What coding language do you use? C, Java, Python, other?
The games I have on itch.io are made either in JavaScript or else some dialect of Basic. Used to make them in Python too, but now I use it mostly for tools.
