Wow, amazing experience! Even though this is not my type of game, this touched me emotionally, especially at the dinner part. I like the way you tell a story here with multiple interactions with the environment. I also appreciate the fact you don't allow the player to go to the kitchen before exploring the rest of the house. Really nice touch to force the player to go through the narrative! The only thing I would suggest here is to develop a little bit more on the "creature(?)". I would love to have more explanation to its existence and for it to have a certain impact on the gameplay (maybe something you have to avoid? something that haunts you and may kill you or make you lose the game?). What I mean here is that you have a bunch of opportunities to improve on this aspect of the game and make it even more interesting (just a personal opinion though since I am well aware that this is mostly a narrative driven game)!

The story and storytelling is extremely creative here! However, I think the theme could be more clearly related to the jam's theme. Also, the ending was kinda abrupt and I couldn't understand it that well. But I still understood the general message and it does blend with the jam's theme!

Visually, even though the art is not my style, I recognize that it is really well done and it fits really well with the game's theme! You did an amazing work with the art here as it evokes something eery and kinda creepy. The choice of colors is also extremely well done here! The contrast between black/white and a colourful scene does a really good job at transmiting the duality of death and life! Really cool detail! The animations and UI are simple and do the job right. The font is perfect for the theme and overall I felt really immersed in this world you've built!

Overall, the game is really well done even though it's no my type. I have to take my subjectivity away and recognize that there's a really well done piece of art here. The game builds this tension and mistery that is interesting and eery. The message is powerful and impactful and tells you a story in a creative way and with really well drawn art. Despite the somehow abrupt ending, the theme is clear in general and it was an ejoyable experience that hooked me to the narrative. Congratulations on your submission!

Really glad I got to play this before voting ended! What an emotional ride for such a short game. I would love to see more! I really like how the character covered her eyes for certain interactibles and you just... couldn't interact with them. However found 1 bug: The kitchen ??? has the same dialogue as the drapes. Might be some event overlap there.

All in all, a great game with wonderful art, music and storytelling. Hoping for more down the road!

This was a really good, impactful game - the art style is lovely, I liked the little pops of colour amongst the greyscale. Well done, fantastic effort in such little time!

Wow what a beautifully crafted game! I encountered no bugs. The ending was so unexpected, storytelling was so well written and paced throughout, surprised at the amount of things you can interact with too! I couldn't get over how well drawn everything was, beautifully eerie is the best way I can describe it. One of my favourites for sure! ❤︎

I loved the art and the twist at the end! Not sure if I understood how death was an opportunity here though.

I really liked this. The feeling of nostalgia and loneliness really came through. I also love that character covers her eyes when she is next to ???. I was confused by the ending (I understand MC is dead but not sure what the black thing was) but I don't think it took away from anything to be honest.

Dude, I honestly don't know what to say, it was so good. The thing at the end freaked me out a bit :D Even though there isn't clear evidence as to why our main character's house ended up like that, the drama that makes you wonder "what happened?" is enjoyable in itself. Congratulations, great work!

Beautifully charming and sad. This Jam let me explore within myself the feelings I have with the concept of death, the beautiful pain of grief, and the sweet celebrations of life we share to mask the unimaginable, especially when it's a child that dies. This game captured beautifully the feelings I had. The drawings were so beautifully eerie, too! Coincidentally, my birthday also lands around Thanksgiving, so that was a fun way I could relate to the characters, lol.

Short and sweet. Felt like playing a sketch book. Also loved the sound design during the dinner scene. Great work!
