Super cool game! It was very addicting, I told myself that  I needed to stop multiple times so I could play other games but I kept playing this. It was also a well thought out game! The upgrades made sense and were not aggregiously.

Developer

Thanks for playing. I liked your puzzle game

Nice, a fellow incremental game submitter. In all seriouness, really incredible job on the game feel. The game starts a bit slow, but when massive chains add up and the game effects go wild it's very pleasuring. Simplicity really is key sometimes! Also, I'd say you done better job on the game balancing than I did on my game lol, upgrade prices and progression can be surprisingly hard

Developer

Thanks, yeah incremental game balance is the hardest part lol.

I'm running your game in another tab right now lol

So simple yet so much variety! This is a game I could get lost in for hours! This is making me honestly relive my flash game nostalgia. Definitely you should polish and post this for a mobile app. I can see people get lost in this for hours on end.

Very nice Entry! Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks. I'll def consider it

Oh my goodness! I mean what is there to say that others haven't? Its so simple and absolutely amazing! I think you really have something amazing here and you should experiment with this idea more 100%. I think even the graphics are basically perfect really. haha. Maybe you could make it look more like a 'terminal' but really I don't have much to offer in terms of what could really be done better, its really perfect as is! haha.

The only downside I noticed was lots of clipping in the audio, but thats just a minor thing, and honestly it actually fits the vibe of the game quite well (like radiation clicks), so even that just fits. lol. Simply incredible! Bravo!!

Make this a mobile app game ASAP and watch the ad revenue pour in! haha. I would play this so much between doing my daily activities. haha. Great work!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Yeah the clipping is a web player issue, it's fine in the download. something to address in the future probably EDIT also the game is playable on mobile cos it's touch responsive but we might do a native app some time

Submitted(+1)

honestly it actually fits though. Haha. So should you update it, you should definitely stick with the clicks "Geiger counter" vibe. Haha.

Either way, fantastic work again! I wish I had this level of design skill. Expertly crafted! :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah def incorporate geiger counter clicks in there somewhere

I like the game over all, really simple and really satisfying, its very addictive and had me playing for awhile.. but I don't see how it ties into the theme, at least on the game-play end.

Developer(+1)

Glad you enjoyed the game!

For the theme I wanted to avoid the obvious choice and go for something different but hear me out. There's the "death" of the run where the reaction dies out and you have the "opportunity" to upgrade and try again. The atoms "die" when they get hit by a neutron but they get to further the chain reaction. Then there's the death of the save file when you reach the end with the opportunity to get a faster end time. Then there's the historical death of the scientists working on the demon core for the opportunity to advance nuclear physics. So while you aren't literally dying until you reach the end the theme is throughout the game.

oh okay, I see, thank you for the clarification on that, I'll update my rating, very clever :)

simple but satisfying game!

Help I am addicted. The chaining mechanics are so satisfying. I wish I could scale infinitly

This game made me feel like a physicist.  Honestly a great game with a simple concept that was done very well.

this was so fun!! very clever way to bring the theme to your game, i had a very nice experience playing :)

Submitted(+1)

It feels incredibly satisfying to get long chains :) this game is deceptively clever!

At first I felt like everything was taking too long, and that the game felt very slow, but then it turned into one of the most satisfying clicking games :D

Submitted(+1)

Really fun game! Despite the lack of visuals the game feel and the fun of it makes up for it, great work!

Nice job!

I like the idea, it is interesting to trying to find chains of atoms and click on them. Needs really good timing.

Personally, I would prefer to see more challenge, otherwise I can just click randomly and still be rewarded

Developer

Thanks!

Early on the challenge is in finding a good chain reaction but later on the game plays itself and the challenge is in finding the optimal upgrade path.
